Shimakaze is not "Sold Out". They have killed the stock because the ship was too
powerful and other nations were complaining about it.

>its "simakaze", not "shimakaze"

Only problem with that is there's no "si" in the Japanese language, only "shi". Just
because TNF misspells it, doesn't mean we have to do the same.

Actually "Jima" is island in Japanese. The ships name in English is spelt Shimakaze.

BBs were named after provinces of Japan (or prefectures):
Fuso
Meaning: Ancient Prefecture near Nagoya

Ise
Meaning: Ancient Prefecture in SE Honshu

Kongo
Meaning: Mountain (1,125m) in Nara Prefecture (was a BattleCRUISER and was
named after a mountain)

Shinano
Meaning: Ancient Prefecture in central Honshu

Yamato
Meaning: Ancient name for Japan

CVs were named after mystical flying creatures:
Shokaku - Lucky Crane
Honshu - Diving Pheonix

CAs were named after mountains

CLs were named after rivers

DDs were named after meterological events and plants.

its "simakaze", not "shimakaze"

sima = island , kaze = wind so simakaze means wind from island.

No bug, the sima is out of stock. NF only allows so many of certain ships and sima is
one of those ships.
