for the most part torps are useless in us navy after dd's dont waste your saliors

US torpedo men is a deadend job, btw.

The better choice is to use support sailors to man the torpedos (yes, they can do that).
Once they become level 26 you can switch them to repairers at which point they'll no
longer be able to fire torpedos, however at level 26 is when you make the jump to the DDX
and no longer have need for a torpedo launcher.

An armament sailor can use low level torps, however if you want high level torps a
torpedoe man is the thing to use.

but an armament sailor doesnt need to be a torpedo man to use low levels torpedoes
launcher, no ?
cos ive got a sailor man whos going to be level 12 and i suppose he will be able to use my
torpedoes launchers...??
