so on?

Yes you make more creds as you progress the line

as far as i know, they make only more credits then a DD is because they deal more dmg.
however, there might be a hidden multipleir somewhere in the code that give certain ships
more credits. its known for a fact that there is multiplier for CVs of about 3X.
