LordKelvin
So, with all the spare time I have on campus doing nothing (not to mention the frustration
of rarely ever fighting a worthy opponent in-game whenever I even bother to play), I
thought that I'd spend some of that spare time writing a USN BB guide.

First and foremost, the reason that I'm writing this isn't because Ar2's guide sucks, but
rather that it's horribly outdated, plus it has no information at all on the Northampton line
of BBs (well, I guess that could count under certain definitions of "suck"). The objective of
this guide is to remedy that problem and provide players with an up-to-date source for
using a USN BB. Not necessarily better information, since Ar2 has far more experience
playing than I do, but at least more coverage and updated.

And since I've provided and updated information for more than a single sticky *cough*,
you get to have the privilege of scrolling down to the next post to read what I have to
say.

Amazing guide i must say, very well laid out and well thought out :D

i willl say one thing though your reference about HMS Hood and the bismark in the Alaska
section, it really was only 1 lucky shell that did it, the ships we're actually a
reasonable match for eachother. Hood much like the Alaska was a faster ship and at the
time was rushing the bissy to prevent plunging fire (not to get in range like the Alaska
but same idea with speed=armour)
Just my 2 cents as a brit the way you worded it made it sound as if the crew of Hood were
stupid ( i know that wasnt your intention and Hood V Bissy is a gd example of BC V BB combat)

neway /rant off Great guide and a real help to anyone starting the US line

I wanted to comment that your previous guides and posts have provided me a great deal of
help in my US line. This one is no different. From Fletcher to Sodak I have used your
guides and various posts as a benchmark of proper US operation. It has been a long grind
without premium but your advice has allowed me to do it properly and without picking wrong
and useless gun-sets and improper setups.

In short, thanks, and keep it up.
