  • If you Crash. PLEASE READ

Please, if you crash, every time you crash, Please check your Navy Field Folder
(usually
c:\program files\sdenternet\navyfield\) for any files ending with .rpt

If you find these files please send a copy with a breif description of what happened
before/during your crash, include the .rpt file with a Contact Support ticket.

If we do not do this the Dev team will have a much more difficult time in solving these
problems.

If you have not done so already, pleae look at the Stickied post Titled: "Common
Problems/Fixes. READ FIRST!" there may be something in there to help you out.

What would be handy is if the first post mentioned something to help out those people on
vista.... something that I found out yesterday through a search on google that helped me
loads with vista....

...probably been said in the 20 pages here but not many people will read all 20...

..if you right click on the NF icon adn go to properties and compatability... you can turn
off visual themes and make it run in Windows 98/ME compatability... You should also make
it run in Administrator mode or turn off User Account Control.

I really apreciate all the info i have gotten about crashes. I have a problem as well.
My computer is a lil old however it didnt have problems running last year. When i
started playing again this year i started getting the black screen crash, the no
mouse pointer crash, the load forever crash, and the disconect from server crash.
only the disconnect crash returns me to desktop. All other crashes require me to
reboot. also I seem to get more than one crash in a row usually the load forever
followed by the no mouse ponter crash. I have gotten some helpfull information out
of the forums and want to say thanks.

I crashed like 5 times havent even got to the eula just on the loading screen. Heres

i crashed during loading a battle, and now program wont work say's - carnt execut
luncher?
did a search for ".rpt" filles foundthe following
NFLPSR.RPT
NavyFIELD.RPT

not sure if i am ment to delete tham or what?
is there any thing else i am ment to do??

I always freeze alot.....
it says connection to the server has been lost
if i start NF then agian it says cannot start for debug
then it wont start..

Dec 28th 540 pm EST I crash every time I try to log onto AZ server
so I del NF downloaded and started over Same thing happend starts
to log in the server then go nuts and kicks me out.
So I tryed to go to the other serves NY and MO
Guess what! log right on no problems on both servers HMMMMMM.

can you tell me WHY I cant AZ server but can the other two.
