Howdy all,

I have a Nevada right now, and my BO is ready to move onto its next ship. Should I pick
the Pennsylvania or Tennessee? I've searched around the forums and have mostly come across
pre-ONF threads.

Thanks for your input.

while the dual 16 N's are not quite the range as would like it is better then the 14's
range and doesnt get bounced hardly as often, which sadened me lots.
and i checked, the L's you cant get 1 bind on.. 4 with the N's.

The rule of thumb is, if you can't bounce the same caliber shells that ships of your class
fire, it's useless. In this case, if you can't bounce RP12 L's, KM 14.96"s, or USN 16"s,
then don't bother. You're costing yourself massive amounts of speed that could otherwise
be put to much better use.

why is armor on us bb pointless?

"6 inches of deck"

Which can, at most, bounce 8" shells and maybe 11" or 12".

Saying that you can bounce USN 14" shells isn't a boast, since the guns can be retarded
like that. Now if you can effectively (emphasis on that word) bounce USN 16" shells with a
Tenn45, then we'll talk.

Even an armored FF could bounce USN 14" shells...

Not so true LK. Tenny 45 can fit 6 inches of deck with my 90+ crew and can bounce most 14
inch shells that BB2s use. Tenny 45 is great for CABB12 rooms if you can find any.

i went with the pennsylvania because it can run faster its dp is alittle more and
although its guns arnt the best of the two it comes in very close second gun wise.
but if your the kind that loves to gun and run so to speak the penn. is really the only
way to go.

"with the remobel to Penn43 im using dual 16's on it"

The Dual 16" L? With one bind? Or the 16" N with many, many binds?

Penn30 is not much different than Nevada in most ways. It's a let down unless you know
it's coming. It's the Penn43 which is the swan waiting to be discovered.

The speed curve on the Penn is smoother, like a gentle curve up. Tenn is like flat flat
flat slow slope then it goes WAY up when you hit the latter levels. Penn is the easier
way to go. If you have good engies, I would go Tenn.

Myself have gone with Penny.
while the Penn30 wasnt that great having the trip14's .. with the remobel to Penn43 im
using dual 16's on it and doing quite well and having fun with it.
at first i was thinking about the Tenn, however talking with my fleetmates it was pointed
out with the speed Penn is the way to go.
my thoughts..
