Actually, the k-berg wasnt as bad as i expected but i think the m project is better
because the 4th r slot kind of makes up for the lower r space. Now im at lvl 44 in my
m-project and im wondering should i get the 8" guns or stick with the 6.75" guns in
my grind for money for the admiral hipper.

not to say u need good gunner to function the K'berg and M pro... in a bliz.

I rather go AA in GB. Cos Emden is a super AA ship!!! you wont need good gunner
(low lv is enough) to make those gun kill. reload rate is good, but when u gunner
begain to lv up the gun function even better.

I took the advice of TheHelmsman and have absolutely no regret at all.

I even got back into the Kberg to level some more sailors, and now using it, in GB, with
gunners lvl 60+ is a blast.
Fast reload, reasonable damage, but more important; range, lots of it, plus speed.

I'm doing quite well in Great Battle, since it's quite an overlooked target.
Use the slim profile to get in, take a few shots and get out, voila XP earned.

Can't take alot of damage, but some SD makes up for that.
Still the Kberg is imho better then the M-pro because it's smaller, has better FCS and a
little more gunspace per gun.

Just don't go into slugging matches with it. Never ever, period.

I skipped the K-burg.

the first level or 3 with my noob gunners in the m-pro was painful!

but i suppose thats going to be true even if you do go K-burg first.

As of today ive lvl'd past 39 (at 40something) and was able to upgrade to the nice 6.75"
guns which really give you a feel of how Km is supposed to be played. with the tripple
5.9's your stuck with before lvl39 your so limited in your range you dont get a feel for
KM play style. i have RANGE now :-D

In hindsite i dont see the point in playing with the k-burg. Between trying to mix it up
with the DD's with my tripple 5.9's on my m-pro (which sucks, its relatively fragile) i
just assume stick to my z99 with 2x5.9's 2x5 torp launchers and another 10-12 knts speed.


in short once i got to lvl 39 gunners and got the nice guns. the ship got to be FUN to
play in. But i wasnt a big fan of it just after i was able to buy it (lvl 37BO)

Idk, I sometimes Love my Kberg, but then, sometimes i just can't stand the darn thing...
I'm running with the triple 5.9 Ls up front and in the rear, HE ammo, and getting 15k a
game with torps and the guns. Kicks butt and prevents getting stagnant with just the z99

thing is, with 6,75 the Mpro have one more barrel of them, and the exact same range. after
a certain level, Mpro spread will allow it to kill the Kberg in range. I'd say Kberg
really shine but with the 8" D first set.

I FREAKIN LOVED THE K-BERG when i used it...3 years ago. faster than the M pro, can put
more armor (dont put armor!) than M pro, better FCS (really made a difference for me)...

dont use torps on your K berg, just mount the 6.75" and run around sniping people. it has
nearly baltimore range...!!! M proj is fairly comparable to the K-berg, but imo, K berg
wins out ...IF YOU DONT MISS.

Kberg is such a dream boat. With the 2 rear gunmounts it teaches you the golden rule of
KM... RUN, Run, and Run some more! If you need credits though make a set of AA gunners,
level them to 30, and hop in an emden and teach yourself to AA. Another skill you MUST
learn to be good at KM (or any BB really).

If you have the extra Creds to buy a Burg buy it... if you lack the creds skip it and go
M-Pro... the M-Pro really really really shines once your crew is 45ish with 2 Engys and
a scout on your support slots and loaded with the KM Heavy CV4 engine it is a VERY
FAST ship that with the 2nd set of 6.75"Ls it can shoot and scoot killing nearly
anything in a blitz room

also i see a few of you asking a question like this in regards to hipper/dland

if this is your 1st line and/or 1st nation then don't do d-land 1st the Pro Line is
hardest line of all nations to play

the hipper is only good for leveling up the rest of your BB supports and AA gunners
but again if you lack the means to make creds hold off on buying it and use your m-
pro longer.. the hipper is slow without the right crew and the 1st set of 8" guns suck
as CA guns go (i would use the 2nd set of 6.75"L you get faster rld and better
spread then with at level gunners with 8") and PE really shines with the right setup
it can pwn any DD/CL and most CAs if you have the speed to shoot and scoot

I'm not very experienced, but I decided to buy the kberg right after I hit 30. I'm on
level 35 now and with the 6'75L the kberg is absolutely amazing. It's a great ship for
leveling because the increased range allows you to get damage on CL2's and CA's fairly
easily. It's speed isn't anything great, but with some armor you can withstand anything
else than a bb for a reasonable amount of salvos. Torps also help if you have to go into
close combat, although the use is limited in GB. The only downside is the poor AA
capabilities, but for the few times you actually get torp bombed, it's not so much of a
problem.

I'm actually considering grinding trough the Mpro if I'm not able to get the credits when
I hit lvl 37. So yeah, the kberg is a pretty good ship :) , gets even better as you gain
levels.
