  • B65 Project best way to use it

When I reach lvl 63 I run to buy the Premium BB and then I was a little disapointment...
For the first time a got a good range of fire but this ship has a lot of bad thinks... So
what do you think is the best way to use this ship? I saw I can put here 16.1 " guns and
also some torps.... =P

in BB123 room, naggy's decent. The thing is, the fatness and spread makes it crap to prey
on bigger BBs, which carry the XP with them. The fact you cannot count on a consistent
spread kinda finish screwing the naggy at level as far as I'm concerned.

Then again, even for BB123 room, I'd take the fuso, so I can have something over the new
bissy (firepower). Kinda screwed the balance of those room, this one. Also, new NC have
prolly round the same spread, (fail) but wtf salvo power, at the exact same range, or so
close you cant see the difference.

Maybe its more my playstyle, but I take fuso over naggy any day, I dodge into range, then
I bring lots of pain upon my opponnent by being accurate. Boom21's and my playstyle are
kinda alike, maybe its why we have done the same thing (f*** naggy, fuso ftw)

ow yah, and never use "its not crap cuz I get top 1 or top 3 attack with it" as an
argument with me.

It just too hard to separate ship abilities and player abilities. the player who gets top
3 result in those game would prolly have gotten a similar result with any BB23.

Maybe I shouldn't comment on Nagato, since last time I did in my Guide, someone *Cough*
felt a need to say I'm a lair.

But, For the fun , Fuso. For the Consistency , Nagato. Plain and simple.

lvl up your whole crews.

If you ride that ship on the right lvl

i don't think you would have fun playing game.

So go level up your sailor crews to 80 or 90 something.

then i guess you would have so much fun playing it.

nagato is good ship.

its not BAD. Just way less fun than Fuso. I've scored in average 150k per game with a
fuso, and more like 100-110k with naggy with only a couple 150k+. The spread kinda pissed
me off it at the beginning, mainly due to the fact I saw a salvo go around a L2 at max
angle. Kinda pissed me off.

aingel I wouldn't say Nagato is bad. I had 100k++ with Nagato but only 80++ with Yamato.
Yamato speed is just really awful but his AA is super good. Can AA anywhere basically.
Around the ship even. I had B65 in my harbor as well but I rarely use them as the OH is
low and the speed is the same as my Nagato and it's well suit me in Nagato than Yamato.
I'm just looking forward for my SY soon but not too soon as my exams are coming up soon. =S

its great training to the yammy playstyle, maybe with a bit more hectic spread and lower
firepower (lot lower)

But overall, the run and gun, cant take really that many hit and blind people before
moving in is a nice preparation to the yammy. At level its no fun tough, and I suggest:
fuso to level about 85. At that level, class your AA (they ought to be 80+) and train for
yammy. the B65 spread should have became usable too(I expect your main gunner to be 85 or
above. Above being REALLY recommended).

Learn to use the AA gunner before gettin on yammy, as this thing rely on them a lot. I
skipped Naggy almost totally, safe for the random game. poor spread, fat body, only a
really dumb or blind BB45 gets itself killed by a naggy 1 on 1.

B65 nearly has the same range, and you are productive toward the yammy. Its the only PBB
that doesnt make you a noob using it, as it really teach you lot bout the IJN BB45.

After that, the B65 can be quite fun. the spread once getting tigher, makes it packing a
decent salvo at a nice range, and it can be quite fast.

B65 project is not suitable for novice to use, hull too hypertrophy, a little
carelessness will be labeled as disabled. Secondly, if there is no good engineer
soldiers, then, B65 program difficult to reflect the speed advantage, once again, IJN
anti-aircraft artillery Road tracks totally different from the other three, novice difficult
to grasp

Hey B65 isn't that bad at all but the OH is really really low. Everyone has to agree with
it. For me, All my crews are level 90++ I got my Yamato but didn't like the speed so I
stick with the Nagato. Just in case I need a few expert on my sailor, I place them on my
B65. Using the AA of 4.7" DP guns at the angle 27. Basically just keep enemy blind as good
as possible. Then get into range and shoot enemy ship.

*NOTE*
If you didn't like the B65 still, you can use your crew now to level a new BO of IJN so
you wouldn't level again just in case. So at the same time you got 1 crew all higher level
than your BO but can use them on lots of ship. I know IJN has only got 1 BB line, You can
level another BB for Fuso if you choose Ise at first. Or you can use them to level your CV
BO and buy a few Fighters and play Fighter on your CV to earn a little bit extra credits
for yourself.

But basically,B65 is good or not really depends on your crew. I got +12 and elites crew
mostly with elite gunners ( pair ) and level 86 11/12 base gunner ( pair ) with the reload
speed pretty much good to take out some BB3 or lucky enough BB4 or BB5.
So its really your choice to make. Your call mate. ^^,

Torpedoes, obviously, you get 12 so why wouldn't you?

On a slightly more legitimate note, 2 gun 27/45, 3 gun 25/42, takes out bb6's pretty
easily long as you take out the scouts and happen to be able to aim at the time.

Gunwise, the 12.2s suck, the 16.1s suck even more since you're only allowed 3, so
it's really the lesser of two evils. Though I suppose it'd be pretty decent with 6
12.2s.
