MN was whoever ment to be be implemented as a rush nation, that held powerful salvos
concentrated on the ship bow.

Rather than hold UK resilience and rep ability, it was designed to use IJN speed and AA to
get its opportunity to blind and rush in, and a smaller hitbox to reduce hits.

But seeing gun schematic of the kaiser compared to KM preference of using duals over
triple turret, I really cant say if MN BB6 will follow the quad tendency, or sprout a more
back to dreadnough philosophy.

Why not try and break the mold of crappy ranged BB's. The french BB6 should pull a 180 and
have range close to the Kaiser.

Well, the BB3 has crappy range, the BB4 has Bismarck/PBB range, the BB5 has the
shortest range of them all... Your premise will be MORE than fulfilled.

I say 4 quads and another example of crappiest range.

I would like to see a re-designing of the Provence. It would have 2 forward turrets
of quad 18.89" guns , 1 center and 2 rear 13.4"duals and 6 ( 3 per side ) 5.1 " quad
AA batteries.

Gascogne - 2 quad guns, one in front, one in rear. It is like Richelieu but with divided
guns. Main guns were 15 inches (or rather 14,96). They collected only 6% sources to build
this ship.

Question is why it is not BB5, and Alsace is BB5 instead 6. It could solve all...

What about have 4 quad guns, so close to the monty look. Skinner than the monty,
and it would have alsace aa platform in middle with 360 turning of aa guns.

a stras with two sextouple (i think thats what it would be called, 6 barrel if i was
wrong) turrets on the front, using 1 gunner per turret so you could have the correct
crew on it, and more numerous and beefed up T slots with a good spread, that
would be my french wet dream

Considering that most of the other BB6's are all fictional with not even paper
designs (Amagi being the exception I think) to back them up its hard to tell.

I seriously hope its not going to be just another 9 gun Iowa clone. A Dunkerquesque
ship with two 5 gun turrets would be alright with me. Perhaps two quad 20" guns
and 3 single 20" guns on those usually useless R slots in the back.

Maybe they'll get really French and make it a reverse Nelson (no pun). Bridge with T
slots up on the bow with 3 triples or quad turrets lined up behind it.
