ive always seen the EBB1 as a novelty item, they were (until they started giving them out
like crackerjack prizes), very rare. mostly seen with high level crew. they used to sell
for mega creidts, now SDE has stopped you trading them.

now if you want to level in it i would go PBB, and get a EBB2 or 3 at the next event.

i am a CV/SS player and hold no real intrest in BB's but i will admit to owning 2 EBB1 a
RN (from invite a friend) and IJN (from this event) i dont play them often just when i
need a break from the grind.

but heres the rub, if you can afford to buy a PBB from the store do so and get yourself a
EBB1 with your coins, its nice to have somehting special from the event you cant ask Mr.
Visa for. i was going to get a IJN PCV with my coins but decided i would like something
money cant buy.

so in the end its all up to you!

As they currently stand, the 15 degree guns are novelty items. They're amazingly fun, and
you can bullseye speeding destroyers with them at near maximum range. It's just hard to
MISS. But that maximum range is kinda low, as is the damage. And the ship is lacking in
top speed to be able to exploit them.

I've actually found the 15 degree guns to be better on the Mississippi EBB2, believe it or
not. While you have 1 less turret to work with, I can put a level 120 crew on that boat
and run at 45 knots, which makes those guns much more useful in a GB2 environment.

They're both interesting ships. The thing is that most people had the Seva already as
the New York a bit rarer. Well, a lot rarer. Either way, neither will teach you end game
BB play very well.

New york was more of a fun bb to play with, if you have the right crew. It had 15 angle
guns, and with enough engies and high lvl gunners, it was really a nice ship to play
with.
