Hello guys;

I have been reading many things on forums about cvs and checking 3rd party sites.
But there are some points that are not clear to me due to opposing posts and some
old posts.Iwould appreciate if someone can explain them and later the answers can
be made a sticky on a different post because I am sure most people are confused
about these issues.

1)At what aspect the (11aircraft/12fighter)fighter better or worse than an elite
fighter?
2)At what aspect the (11aircraft/12bomber)bomber better or worse than an elite
bomber?
3)Does the bomber ability on a fighter effect anything?
4)Does the fighter ability on a bomber effect anything?
5)Does Seaman's potential effect anything? For example is 12 pot 12 fighter seaman
better than 13 pot 12 fighter seaman?or 13 pot 11 fighter seaman
6)Does the fighter/bomber skill on medic effect anything on fighters/bombers
effectiveness?
Again at what aspect is the potential effective on my aircraft's performance?
7)How should I class my fighters?At level or?How does the different ways of classing
effect performance?
8)How should I class my bombers?At level or?How does the different ways of
classing effect performance?

Not seems Monarach, they do have better defense, site range, and fuel stats. If you want
to know the real comedy about lower tiered v higher tiered fighters though take a closer
look at how they "fixed" the T1 exploit.

defense bonus...

Aircraft = attack/defense stat of scout pilots
Fighter = Attack/Defense stat of fighter pilots
Bomber = Attack/Defense stat of bomber pilots

This seems simple enough, but nothing is what it seems in NF.

Attack stat of a pilot is capped, meaning once you have a certain amount of fighter
ability on a fighter pilot its attack stat will no longer improve. Defense stat on the
other hand is NOT capped. This means that no matter the ability of a pilot the defense can
always get better. This applies to all pilots.

Scouts sight range is strictly attached to the type of scout plane.

First 5 classed as rookie pilots will be your scouts. Column titled sight range will show
you their range of sight.

So if I wanted a bomber, I wouldn't care about a 9 in aircraft? Just the 12 in bomber?
Thinking of starting a CV crew soon, research n stuff.

If thats true, I'm going to be pissed. Rerolled a couple +12 fighters today because they
had 8/9 in aircraft.

There was a large patch to CV's not long ago. See answers below:

1) After last patch, each plane type is affected by only the specific stat. Fighter
based on Fighter stat.
2) Same thing as #1, Bombers affected by Bomber Stat.

5) There is no conclusive evidence (at least not that I or anyone I've talked to about
it) proving what is the best stats for a Seaman. The general consensus seems to be that
the specific stat improves that ability. IE. Higher fighter stat on seman improves
Fighters, Higher Bomber stat imrpoves bombers, and so forth. Again these are more
perceived benefits as opposed to some statistical benefit.
6) Medics (to the best of my knowledge) have no improvement factor to any sailors.
Simply meant to reduce crew loss.
7) Either search the multiple topics on this one or maybe someone else will answer.
Generally speaking from what I've been told class at level if you are going to use
average/decent bve. Delay class if you are going to mass vet them (believe this is
because as they are classed crew growth is decreased meaning a lower on vet cap).
8) Again search threads for this one or let someone else chime in, but to my knowledge
classing bombers on time is not as touchy a subject as fighters.
