you never know, but KM wouldn't be as nerfed as it is now

Let's see if I can clarify some things. I did not mean to downplay said WWII vet. I merely
wondered why other incidents don't get stickied while this one does. If you wish, I might
create threads about political issues (oh wait, those are illegal according to the forum
rules IIRC) or news with important (in the sense of affecting a lot of people, several
countries or everyone on a glibal scale) topics.

I guess you're right about not being able to play NF in the present, crazy Adolf wouldn't
be very fond of computer games, I guess.

RIP hero, you do not have to carry the burden of living in this world anymore. Thank you
for your sacrifice to create peace.

blood's got a point doom, you wouldn't be here playing NF on ur couch if these brave men
and women didn't serve to protect our country...

Mr. Hammond and millions of others fought during America's darkest hours and many paid the
ultimate price in order to protect their loved ones, their community, and their country.
To these brave men we owe them everything.

Hey Doom, My wifes grandfather (listed in post) , her father (also deceased) , my
step-mother's father (RAF fighter pilot in WWII also deceased), my father's dad, my
father, mother, 5 uncles, 2 aunts, 6 cousins have all served this country in times of
conflict and peace. Some of them are still active duty or reserve. And if I'm not
mistaken at least one of them is currently assisting in Japan. Show some respect for
a man who put his country before his wife and newborn daughter to retake the only
american soil to be occupied by a foreign army since 1845, have his bomber shot
down and its crew captured and placed in a Russian internment camp in Siberia for
over 9 months. And remember this, along with the members of my family, the
millions of servicemen and women past and present who put the Flag and what it
stands for ahead of their own lives even if you don't agree with the reasons at least
they were willing to die to protect those ideals. I pity you.

Bloodsky my wife and I thank you and the rest of Navyfield community for allowing us
to place the Obit. in the forum and the respect you and others have shown him.

Well, doom, we have yet to see you write any post referencing these events. In the mean
time, I don't think it's unreasonable that we ask that you show the deceased some respect,
no matter what your personal opinion about them is.

RIP, you were and will always be a hero.

Without people like Raplh Hammond there would be no NavyField.

Its an interesting way to think of it. But step back and think;

Over 30 million Men, Woman, and children died to write history, and in the process, bring
you this game.

Doom show the dead some respect, and quit being a dbag in this thread.

Just think if there weren't vets from EVERY country that par-took in the allied effort,
we'd all be under Axis powers ruling. So just be thankful for some of the things in the
world today rather than be hateful towards those who fought to preserve a free world for
certain area's of the world.

RIP.
