Blitz I think is good to learn best ways to bomb (direction, timing, ect) but it doesnt
help at all with scouting/AA evasion, fighting other fighters & covering your team. If
youre gonna be one of those BWs that everyone flames when theyre swarmed by
enemy fighters and cant scout then Blitz is the place to learn, but if you wanna be a
complete CV player and a better team player then you have to incorporate some GB2
games in with your Blitz games. I will warn you about GB2 games......KNOW YOUR
ROLE !!!!! If you go trying to fight T2s and up, you will lose ALOT of planes which mean
ALOT of credits, especially if you dont have prem to get the 140% credit boost

LOL! I saw in the other thread that you didn't know what locals were. If you are saying
here that you know how to handle it, you are in for a rude surprise. Just because you know
how to launch the planes and move and maybe drop a few bombs doesn't mean anything. If
this is your first CV, play the crew in it. If you show if in GB in a bigger ship you'll
be expected to beat people that are better than you and you'll get some well deserved flames.

Also, you state that you just want better experience. Is that because you are trying to
level up the flyers??? Why walk into a GB2 with a texas, its about useless to your team as
it has on two guns and no speed. Its good in blitz and thats about it. Don't leech, it
isn't polite. Both Portland and Texas are lower level then Bouge, so you'll get less xp,
unless the flyers are the same level as the ship. You need to give us more details for
sound advice.

i think you played a CV befor but if this is your first time you should use the CV in
blitz its gonna teach you stuff

That is true but the Portland you could fit some AA stuff on there and AA a little.

in gb2 id say the texas it would be harder to hit by bb

I have learned how to handle it. I want to learn how to get best exp. in either
Portland or Texas.

If you have never been in a CV then you need to play it in blitz and learn how to handle
it. GB is not the place to do it.

the indy is pretty fun in blitz but if theres 3 cvs and a bb1 in the room, then usually
the other 2 cvs will go with the bb against you.

Yorktown is where the fun begins in the USN CV line.

Bogue and Independance are very hard to play with at-lvl crew and you really will
suffer during your grind to YT.

When I was in your place, I used Pensacola and Sevastopol everytime I could stand
the CV12 grind anymore.
