I've put together screenshots of the various CA ranges as they were on friday May
28 on the test server.
Yes if you include ship size the Gorki with 10" does just outrange the P-pro.

The Mk 14 N is the New Orleans gunset of choice according to the US sticky,
supposedly it has slightly better damage than the Mk 13L and the same range.
You can use the Mk14 L on the NO, but it leaves you 3 binds to use.
I did not test the Mk 16 L, iirc the 14 L should outrange it.

The KM 11" c/28 N is the gunset for the Dland. I did not include a gunset for the
Hipper as I messed up the screens for it.

For the York and County guns I forgot to include the L's in their descriptions.

Other than that I think I included all the (end) gunsets for all the CA's.

I can try and arrange the guns in order of ascending/descending range, but
rearranging the guns might give me some trouble correctly lining up all the ships
again.
As I used the CA's the guns are meant to be used on for the screens, I'm not sure
you get the "real" range displayed correctly here. Even though I used all lvl 120
gunners, the CA FCS restriction still leaves some guns with an ugly spread.

Also to put the "real" range in perspective to my range screens, typically for none
blocking guns I fired at least 3 shots to get the maximum amount of markers on
screen. Then I kept on firing waiting to take a screenshot until I had a grouping that
left most markers on the median range , while a few shots went wide to the 1st and
2nd under and overshoot jump. With most guns this means I stopped shooting well
before 10 shots were fired.
I'm not comfortable/sure you can claim my screens represent the true "real"range of
all guns. They're a good illustration for gaping flaws, but for hardcore balancing not
so much.

I'll try and do a ascending range screen when I have time to play with my
copy/paste buttons.

Could these be arranged by range, and the N/D sets removed?

Also, are you missing some gunsets? Namely US New Orleans 8" gunset?

I'm very rusty with my memory of my CA stuff, but I recall US ranging UK

I thought I nerfed the speeds of the MN CAs :S

Edit:
17. CA Suffern: Reduce Base speed
19. CA Tourville: Reduce Base speed
21. CA Algerie: Reduce Base speed

I did, go check the test server data.

I also changed the level of some of the trip 6"/dual 8" guns.
All that needs to be done is some range buffs to the dual 8" guns (both sets) IMO.

I think a little bit longer tbh, with correcting and double checking stuff ( doing a few
head to heads to see some ranges in combat).

edit.
Some info that's not range related, but rather speed related.
I also looked at the base speed for a lot of CA's at their maximum displacement.
Maxim Gorki : 24
Algerie, Suffren :30
Tourville: 29
Baltimore, York, County, Mogami, Hipper, Prinz Eugen, Deutschland, P-Pro: 26.

Seems to me that MN CA are/remain too fast compared to the rest, if their guns are
made competative
Though in actual play the differences might be less compared with some of the
slower CA's, because of better usuable displacement on those slower CA's.

Funny that CL caliber outrange CA caliber in MN.

EDIT: Let me guess the hour you spent 2 hours if that was non stop?
