  • Trip.16"N's on POW

Not being fully proficient in using angles with quads and then having to deal with all
the shells missing cause they are blockshot, I toyed around and threw on trip.16"N's
second set and LIKED THEM. Big damage, a wee bit more range, and a wee bit
faster reload than the quads. Love them so far.

I just got the POW and have been toying around with setups that fit my playing
style and found the 16"n's, with just bulge and a couple bulkhead, still give pretty
nice speed. Have not tried the RP12sn's (the set before getting RP12sl's) or tried it
AW'd or SW'd. Still playing with the trip. 16"N's...

Anyone have any suggestions or thoughts on the 16"N's or any other gun to play
with? Quads just are not cutting it for me, but then again, I am no NF angle expert
like most of you. =P

You can put on RP12sl's the problem is no ammo to use with them. =P

The triple 16" are fun guns...if you can't seem to shoot very well w/ the quads then
just stick to them or the second set Rp12s

There's still no greater satisfaction than firing at max range, waiting....waiting...then
seeing 20-30k damage register in your attack. Even better when you see "500
points" or some other bonus. Oh how I love causing crew deaths.

With Lvl85 ACC gunners, the spread on the 16"N's is grouped/tight well, but
certainly no blockshot. To me, one can avoid a blockshot, if one can see it coming.
With the grouped/tight spread of the 16"N's, trying to avoid it is a little more difficult.
Plus, the 16"N's give splash damage, as well. Still playing around with them.

I love the quads. I'm not an angle expert but in my head I'm starting to tell myself
that whatever range I think the enemy is at...go 3-4 below that because I typically
land above them by just a tiny bit otherwise.

How far is the spread on the 16" N's? Obviously it's non-correctable except by using
high level gunners. But you like it over the quads, that's saying something!

UK 16" are nasty.

Any IJN ship without 900 SD is gone after 1 hit. And even 900 SD wont help much.
