Don't worry about the Courbet, you will level right through it very fast to the Lyon.
OH! one thing, Lyon is very slow with quads, and by the time you get the lvl 71 guns ur
in the Paris, small harder to hit and faster than Lyon/Courbet.

At lvl 75 BO and lvl 77 gunners, onwards and upwards!

Courbet compare with other nation BB1

DP : Fine , and the extreme small hitbox will help in most situation .
Range : Crap , it's 12" gun have worst range in BB1
Fire Power : Usable , 10 barrel 12"gun each side with 30 degree bad spread .
Speed : Usable , 26knt normal speed(with all guns) with bad hull OH ratio .
Anti-Aircraft : Usable , 5 T-slot each side with bad fire arc (150 degree)
Armor : Useless , Like other BB1s , Courbet can't fit effect armor in GB .

I didnt loose many Blitz battles with my courbert it was a ship made to own. However
whenever there was a *GOOD* Revenge player i got owned big freakin' time however
most players aren't that great with their BBs in blitz.

Also i got owned by an Alaska that had super tight spread.

From my own playing experince revenge and Alaska/Guam are the best blitz ships if you
got your crew correct. And don't give me the "alaska gun spread is horrible"-
crap/bullshite. Courbert spread is bad if anything but it does get better at around 57+
with at least +11 BVE gunners.

I have used both MN lines in Blitz. Sorry but Revenge Rules in Blitz all things considered BVE etc etc
with better range, damage, and support.

As far as the ship lines go. I prefered the Upper Bretagne line as stated above. The little BB has an
extra support slot and can use the better guns as stated. Its like a Mini-QE. I ran that BB till the MN
BB4 Richeleu. The Dunk sucks and the Stras, albiet fun, just cant cut it like the Lorraine.

Its kinda twofold... the line leading to Courbet is easier to play and has better blitz ships. If you can
stomach the bretagne line then its definitely better, but the majority of people just go courbet and
dominate blitz.

If anybody says the Courbet is the king of Blitz, why wouldn't they say the Bretagne is?

Bretagne > Courbet.

The Courbet is a great ship and some would say the King of Blitzkrieg but it has clear
flaws. One of these flaws is the lack of gun space. The Bretagne can mount the Lvl 71
13.4" Model 1922 with 2 binds whereas the Courbet cannot even mount these guns in
a similar fashion as the Bretagne. The Courbet can mount the 13.4" Model 1912 but
only has 1 bind whereas the Bretagne can mount it with sufficient binds of ammunition.
Yes the Courbet comes 2 levels before the Bretagne and has 1000dp more than the
Bretagne but I think that advantage is outclassed by the gun variety the Bretagne can
mount and the positioning of it's weaponry. The Bretagne is King of Blitzkrieg if the crew
is decently BVE'd and is using the Model 1912 13.4" duals with plenty of ammunition.
The Courbet has to rely on the 12" Model 1906 to be effective in Blitzkrieg without
running out of ammunition quickly and with an at level crew.

That line is fine, just play smart.

I've got 5 lvl 77 engs: Boosted, 139-159 vets, Maxed out experts base +12 and I go 40 out
of 42 on Paris and Strasbourg. Just imagine them with worse engies or less of them.
