Should I class my fighter pilot to ACE fighter ?

ningbo888	I am a noob as a CV player, or by technically speaking I have not play a single battle as a CV player yet, but I am willing to become a good team player to make my side win (since I was always on the blind side, and I think some of BB players could feel my pain). Futher more, I checked old posts on the forum, and it seems like bomber skill will not do anything for fighter at all, and I get the idea about delay would give more growth rate compare with class those fighters on time. The confusing part for me is some people stated that class fighters to the ACE than keep it that way, and some people stated that keep them as fighter pilot till lv120. my situation is: 8 elite boosted fighter, lv60 now, willing to get vets / experts if necessary. What should I do to get the best outcome? Any tip will be appreciated.

ningbo888	k, I did the calculation by using both tools that I found in other posts, the result gives me that, if i am not classing my fighter pilot, at 200vet full experts than the true ability will be better than ACE, any lower number will be always ACE > figher pilot. in this situation, I think I will stick with fighter pilot till lv120. ningbo888	Thanks for replays guys, much appreciated. mr.V2CxBongRipz , I get what you wanna say about the play skill its whats matters, but I just wanna know if under same or near circumstances, such as 2 cv players are all know what they are doing, or no micromanagement at all, and all use same lv same nation fighters. Its that +60 more sailor makes the difference? Since if i class them, I will have 60 less sailors on board, assuming I got minimum 120 vets full experts.

V2CxBongRipz	Not classing your fighters or bombers is not a requirement but will maximize their ability. My 120 USN fighters are classed properly and do fine. My DBs are also classed on time and can still dogfight. My KM on the other hand is classed ACE only and go toe to toe with USN pilots 10+ levels ahead. There are also CV6s that fall to them. Skill plays a factor in everything.

Remenents	I classed on FPs on time and they are lvl 80 right now. I have about 60 recruit 292 experts and 107ish vets. (I always screw up which are better, experts or vets, so bear with me if I did it again). I dont have much trouble unless I am up against 120 pilots or someone with crazy experts and vets. Micormanaged, I can hold my own pretty well. They are 10 aircraft 11 fighter. I would suggest on time, the pilots reach the caps fast enough, especially since you have elites. Just boost them and vet them and let them go to work. You wont be disappointed.

V2CxBongRipz	If you plan on super vetting (past like 160-80 or so) then dont class as ACE. That is my understanding of things anyway. It would be worth it for you to search the tips and tactics section for additional info.

mako089	Classing reduces crew growth. Your choice will depend on how many vets you are going to have. * wait for the people with numbers to start posting and ignore people that don't understand why you might not want to class fighters.
