Mine was a stray maybe 9-10 months old that wondered into my Mom's work. We had a couple
of mice so she decided to bring it home. Sure enough she was a killer and we have been
mouse free for some time now.

With your cat being a stray Emma, does she allow you to hold her? Mine dosnt though she
will curl up on my lap.

Bawwww...

And I thought my story of my cat, at 4 weeks old, climbing up the wooden columns to the
second story balcony was a worthy enough feat for my dad to bring her inside. Being
napping around for 6 years since.

Here she is, with her 15th birthday cake.

She was a stray, non-breed, that we found stuck in a rat trap in an alleyway behind
the shop my dad used to work in, back in 1996.

Managed to free her and took her to the vet, and after she was nursed back to
health, we didn't want to just let her go back into the wild, so we took her home
instead and she's been a member of the family ever since.

@mysharona

I simply appreciate the valuable and beautiful things in life :)

As for pollution, there will come a time when it gets so severe that lives will be
impacted. But luckily I probably won't be around by then, so it's next generation's
problem.

"The Cats" were a rock band from the Netherlands, active in the 1970's.

Well, for me it doesn't matter, because I'm not looking for an animal to master over
and obey commands.

And that's partly why I love cats. They treat you as equals, not their master.
Besides, there's just a more gentle and graceful nature to cats.

My 15-year-old cat, a former stray, has been a perfectly loyal companion to
me all these years. She may not listen to everything I tell her to, but she never fails
to come to the door and greet me when I get home and rub herself against me
when I'm watching TV.

And each time she hears me opening my room door and stepping out, she will stop
whatever she's doing and run towards me mewing, give me a nudge, and then go
back to sleep or whatever she was up to.

To me, she's more like a friend instead of an animal possesion.

Why not dogs, dogs are a much better companion than the majority of all cats. Cats don't
do anything their told, they do what they want.
