Hi folks,
because of some experience as a BB and CV-driver, I have wrote down a small CV guide.
Either want to play as little assistance for which the CV times and do not really know, to choose which nation they (depending on the style of play) or for players who already play a CV.
The sources for this guide, a guide to the components of the Navy TeamGER and flow, their own experiences as a BB and CV-driver.
1. The principle as CV-Captain:
The CV is a strategic weapon:
You should know that CVs are among the most feared ships in Navy Field. Each warship is stable and does more damage per time (when the level of pilot and gunner are comparable).
But a battle ship is not as mobile as a CV. With your aircraft you are flying to be able quickly to any point on the map inserts. Pilots are invulnerable to torpedo cannon balls and waves. Unlike a battleship you can fly over it so quickly and reliably over a lot of torpedo-throwing DDs and attack the underlying goal.
In addition, you have other than a battleship Keep the whole battle under control.
Allows the team with your playing style and gain an advantage to win the game.
Whether offensive or defensive, your task is to help your team with an advantage to your Fighter!
In the low-lvl it is enough enemy scouts and bombers may be removed.
Later in the so-called enemy Dogfight Fighter clear away to win the air supremacy.
Why?
The most important for the BBs is good visibility when it ensures that a game is almost won. In addition, you can hold the enemy blind and refrigerate any opponent's CVs by superior fighter.
Why I write about BBs?
Because those who have a game for you if you win them creates the conditions!
A good CV makes 50k driver 50k Damage Credits no points, why is that?
I've found personally that I see in games where I've shot a lot of planes with my hunters, and have bombed as not so good, get more EXP than in games where I just bombed enemy targets.
For example, in a game I made in 4000 Credits downed aviators, my pilots got 8k EXP. In another game again, I've only bombed and I won despite 35k dmg only 4.5 k EXP.
Conditions were the same level pilots, all GB1, games won, own flagship not survive, BB3 1 each on each side, not on CV2 as opponents or your own team ..
A CV drive only makes sense if one min. 1 Hunter and 1 bomber, has the best 2 of each to start with.
A so-called Fighterwhore is much more a victim like a hunter without a CV.
The reason is simple: One can not fend off an rushende FF or DD with fighters.
2. Choice of the CV-nation and their way of playing
The choice of the CV-nation is not elected on the basis of the CV's but because of the Sailortree and the aircraft of any nation.
1. KM good fighter, DBs are also very good.
2. U.S. also good fighter, good TBs ordinary DBs.
3. IJN very good DBs because extra 2, Fighter, unfortunately, not so good.
4. UK the best TBs Fighter also not so good.
The decision should be based on your preferred make her play.
Defensive players will use a good choice with KM because they primarily Fighter.
Probably the best all-nation by U.S. fighters who need to hide from anything.
IJN is a disadvantage in matters such as the UK fighter an advantage but is accurate and beautiful DBs carrier in great variety.
UK can play very well offensively for the best TBs in the game.
3. Play as CV-Kapitiän:
3.1. Braver CV
Always make sure the fighter cover give you your portion of the map under control you (blow away scouts bombers and fighters).
And the enemy fighters besieged directly or CV to him blind to keep idle.
Leads to success, and to a fuller bag credit when your fighter is better than the opponent.
2.3 Evil CV
Your fighter is still not good enough (LVL)?
Make yourselves friends and Sink the CV of the problems you prepared!
Since these CVs have very good hunting seasons, you have to fight those with a library. Posted a season with your bombers with. In this case, must reach the hunting season a few seconds before the bombers target. While the enemy. Hunters now the hunters fall behind on your bombers fly the target. Yet success is not guaranteed. On the one hand, hold your hunters often long, on the other hand, the CV and send to dodge any further Soger fighter squadrons against you. Cooperative missions with other CVs help here immensely. Even if you do not then your Zeil can, so the driver no time to take care of your battleships and these are once in range, almost all dead CV
What are your goals:
1. Chipped BBs
2. CVs
3. Hot food that is CA's
4. Flak-ships because they bring you down in no time for quite a bomber squadron, the best example of his Omoikane in Emden, absolutely annoying type, D
5. Only in emergencies attack other targets!
3.3.1Vor the game:
The game will be balanced split / / whatever.
Ye it looks up the strategic starting position. Either close to your teammates, but you or protect the exposed top and bottom to make possible long vertical runs to (the latter may prevent the drive out of the map).
Once you have chosen the starting position you look at the other side and take a bit of espionage:
- Where are the other CVs and what are their levels and classes of ships?
- Where are the battleships, especially those that are very stable and probably pull our warships will be severely affected?
3.3.2 At the beginning / during the game
Cvs Should the enemy have (which is actually always the case) you prepare now for an appropriate hunting season, the best two fighter squadrons are ready to catch the first Scouts and thereafter protect the battleships. The 2nd Wave fit to the situation. In GB-Play pays a charge for damaged bombers you send BBs or when a position of an enemy. CV has the off.
3.3.3 Other. Things during the battle
Travel should always be your flanks are protected by allied ships - and avoids the "black" to drive. There lurk very likely that you are looking for ships - CVs are a primary goal!
Does the ship have the problems! Help the BBs against overwhelming pots. Generally - BB and CV are almost unbeatable combination. (Is not the idea you hiding behind a 4bar Alaska! The sunk himself ..)
Watch out that you do not ride out the map that I am a specialist for it ^ ^ and your team would take it amiss in a hot phase of the battle. And reacts with course changes, if one of your flanks breaks - you're not expected and no BBs that you draw the fire upon you.
Predict the Plant! As your plane to attack a target you can give you an excellent overview of the overflown area.
Is possibly a damaged CV in the area? A battleship, or even a DD that can freely go to you?
4. Ability values and base values of the pilots, or Vets and Boost
As always, the fighters are most important, they should always be levele
