  • Noobest smoke using situation?

Smoking is not good to health, and in many occasions saved many lucky dying ships

 

But the people who I despise most that use smoke are those LFPW CVs with AA

 

well...if you still can't defend yourself with so many lfps and AA around , you deserved get DB-ed to death.!

Nothing beats a level 120 RM BB4 popping a smoke in order to rush (especially when the enemy is blind).

I can't wait for those who use smoke the most to critizise it. Oh wait.




The noobiest moment I've seen is when the last ship pops a smoke to hide itself. I MEAN REALLY. WHERE DID YOU GO BRO? OH, IT'S MAGIC.


Also, people who believe Smoke will magically stop my 16" shells and then b*&% about it when I still hit them in the smoke.

I never buy smoke, but if I win any I sure as hell use it, "if you've got it, flaunt it" ;)

I have no problem at all with people smoking, as sindher said it doesnt stop you shooting/torping/dbing them, I do love manually dbing someone as they smoke and they accuse you of hacking when they have simply sailed straight :P

Or those that smoke when you were completely blind to let you know where they are, thats always kind

That awesome moment when you have 12 DBs hovering above some enemy ship sailing in a straight line. They pop smoke but keep sailing in a straight line. Manual Drop - GG.

That is the noobest situation.

Smoke, as a concept, is a nice idea. However, at the moment it just fit in the game.

You can get a whole team to spam it which ruins the game. The reload is too much on them. Let them be used tactically. Not covering the whole map constantly.

On top of that, anything inside the smoke should lose vision/stop giving the team vision (regardless if the unit is friendly or enemy); but if you are inside the smoke, you should be able to see anything that is inside the smoke. But not outside. Very similar to how the smoke bomb from Graves works in *.

Furthermore, there should be a free version with a dedicated sailor/launcher for it, and it should be aimed at support ships more. The whole premium ammo mechanic is stupid. Pay to win is what kills games, and at the moment, smoke bombs are a form of that.

Being smoke rushed by a kaiser and 2 L2s, I was alone (yes 9 bbs went the other way) oh and I was in an at lvl SN pbb.

I wish they would limit some of the harbours attacks to only ff/dd/cl or whatever the options were. Perhaps have 3 with limited smokes and the other 4 can be as is. Obviously this involves the new harbours working so probably no point suggesting it.

I don't know how smoke bomb from that other game works, but +1 to the basic mechanics of this suggestion.
