SDE developped new nations. The content comes to the server and gets looked at by the test team. They give their feedback and everyone THINKS that SDE is going to look into it.
Next ofcourse the new harbors come out. Now they also tested them on the test server AND they reported that the rentals were way overpowered for all the new nations, speeds from 60-120knts. For the rest the harbors were decent enough. Now SDE decides to just patch this into the live server.
Yesterday: Harbors were conquered. In the next few hours the Russian and MN rentals can come sailing out, nobody is saying anything yet. Even when they sail at way higher speeds then their normal counter parts its no problem. Now the italian harbor gets conquered and wow, look at that; a superduper OP rental that goes over 100 knots... Oh wait, they did mention something like that in the test server right? Then why didnt they do something about that before they patched it in? Did they mean it to be this way? Do they even care?
It appears not. Now BS has already been restricted, as they now cannot use their rentals of RM. No problem, but what about the other 2 (6?) nations? Its all or nothing here... and what is the point of holding the harbor if people cannot use the rentals? Free repair doesnt give that much of an advantage, and against to what people might believe the creditgain for holding a harbor isnt that much. I find it just hypcritical that they were warned about OP content time and time again, but still they just decide to patch it in. And next the playerbase gets the boot, because then we cannot use the op content, or people start abusing it and they franticly look back to the test team to fix it. Note be, the test team mentionned this all probably from the get-go.
Is it that hard for SDE to first listen to the test team, and then put it in? Is it that hard to get looked at content that fits into the game for once? Now i am just wondering why cant they just do this, even after all these years of the same f'in male-cow secretions that we are getting. Is it that they do not get enough revenue, i think not... So now would it be that hard to even get an official post of TNF, let alone SDE about these problems? It has been over 24hours now and no official statement except for one announcement in game.
