Quite simply: BOTH.

2 BOs

2 main gunners, classed acc rld rld I suggest

6 engies 4 rep OR 5 engies 3 rep with 2 rld/rld/rld extra gunners to AA.

1 scout

Quite simply, 2 BOs will allow you to keep your support up, and your gunners will get ahead.

Especially with US you want gunners above your BO level to deal with at level spread issues.

I suggest going colo on the alaska line and penn on the nevada one. That way you got both the best 14" BB2 and the best 16" BB2.

Now bout the lines. If I had to choose only one I'd take alaska one. Sodak is lot more at level friendly than NC and without high level engies, nevada line is a bit on the slow side. It does pack an impressive punch tough.

Alaska is a big CA, I normally keep the pensa till Guam, for the 5 support slots. Guam is fast, bit less powerful than the nevada but still decent once your spread gets better around level 65 with BVE gunners. If you do the dual BO line you'll hit BB1 with gunners in the high 60s prolly.

Thats the best leveling tip I can give you. Do what you wish with it.

As a whole, the answer varies per player, Phillip......for me, I always liked to keep my gunners, as with my ENGs, 10-15 levels above the boat level I was in.

One thing about Nevada: Its horribly slow compared to the Alaska and Guam

As a minimum, gunners must be 2 levels ahead of BO at level 89.

Sodak is a BB. Penn 43 is a BB. Both go quite fast. Sodak especially. dont give too much importance to BC/BB difference in game. They are balanced that way point.

Big picture is that if you go alaska/guam you are able to play the colorado, which is a beast and can really hold its own. I went nevada and ship tree reset back to colorado.
