To include:-

CV

- Grouping Pilots

- Scouting with Planes

- Manual Bombing

- Loading of planes

- Splitting your plane load between multiple pilots

- Neut CV5 for some missions like the Neut SY

- Once all missions are complete, a full +11 Yellow Neutral crew is given to the new player for CV; 4 fighters, 4 bombers and a Seaman.

Will update this with other idea's as people post them/as I remember them.

2. Using altitude to your advantage and changing it to help your planes survive.

3. Supports: Medic, Seaman, Eng, Rep, Restore: Where and Why or why not?

Fully supportive of everything in this thread and the quoted post, so long as these training missions dont tell CVs they should basically be the BBs scout-bi**h in GB.

May we have a gunnery training mission so that we can practice manual aiming every time we have a new set of heavy guns on a ship?

It's called a Test Mission, start in the very bottom right and launch a scout. If you head south-southwest you can engage ships in the upper 10 degrees of max angle.

the testmission (& destroy cl mission as well) still crashes for a lot of people on 
1/2 or 1/3 of all launches (well they crash at the testfires really).

If you have,

The entire DirectX Runtime library installed.

Good idea.

I'd like to see some minor restriction on new players where they have to attend training classes prior to receiving credentials to enter GB games.  Restrict them to training and Blitz until completing training missions.

Players with BOs classed as CV should take CV training classes, including using high-end bombers and fighters (give them a taste of future opportunities!). 

Players with BOs classed as SS should take sub mechanics and ASW.
