Maybe it was just one half month early. I wasnt here to take advantage of the super event SDE held (Spice Event), I wish I were, but that was almost 2 months long....not to mention the 4th of July event : )   It would be nice to have another so soon, but SDE has given us quite a bit in the last 3 months...but I wwouldnt be upset if we dont have a  year anniversary.

There is an type of event in planning at the moment, not specifically for 7th Anniversary and not in a traditional boost/drop construct.  We hope to be releasing more details soon.

maybe they are just too badly in shock that the game has lasted another year after they did all they could to try preventing it? seriously why do people cry so much for even more stupid xp and free stuff... it will prob be combined wiv summer event...

the reason i ask this question is that for 6 years, they have had anniversary events almost on the exact same dates. now july is half over and we still dont see an anniversary event happening.

we have had alot of events, back to back. i think that this game is about to die and they gave away all the goodies they could in the most recent events so everybody could max out on end-game ships and then nobody would have much more reason to play this anymore. think it over a bit...

i know many guys that have all the BB6's or CV6's and or SS5's they want, or they have all the ships they want and they dont play this game at all until a harbor assault.and even then, they are so inactive that they dont even visit the fleet forums to see when HA's are going on. then they dont even play then.

so i think the end is near for this crashing,unfixed game that i love soooo terribly much.

Honestly, this is a rather unique game, i doubt it will ever die off until there is a replacement for it's genre.

 

Sure people move on after awhile, Heck I'm back after a long break and waiting for my account to be restored, but many will keep coming back.

 

There simply is no replacement for this game if it's something you enjoy.

There have been so many events lately that not having an event would feel like an event in itself....
