I remember thre was an path which nerfed fighters sight range alot , just don't remember why.
All I remember is after that, not much people  flaming the cvs when blind.
but now, even some very very old palyers flames cv for blindness.
this makes me wonders what's the purpose for nerfing fighters' sight range last time.

this makes clear that CVs' fighter  role is to

1. kill scouts

2. kill bombers

BUT not mainly to scout

once the skies are clear,BBs plz use their own scouts to scout plz!

This has not been patched to the live servers.

Fighters should not be able to scout as easily as they do.

what would be quite good (imo) would be for fighters to have their sight circle moved directly in front of them so they cant actually see behind themselves as far as they can see forward.

Sight range is a personal attribute.. and should have nothing to do with the type of plane your in.  Scout planes were used in ww2 because they carried more fuel, and could go longer distances, and could hold 2 people so 2 sets of eyes are better than 1, but to suggest that a particular plane should be able to scout better than another is just wrong.

And I don't understand why my play style should be decided by some other random players.

hence why I just suggested the sight circle should be moved more in front of fighters, simply due to the fact scout planes as Jeff said, often had more than 1 person, meaning the sight wasn't just forward, but could very easily be seen behind as well.

With fighters having more forward vision than rear, would help to sort of 'reduce' their overall sight range but put their sight where it should be

nerfed fighters sight range = advantage for cheaters

First:
solve the serious problem of cheats.

Once solved this point, put the patches they want.

I doubt that WW2 naval fighter pilots are trained to identify enemy ships and spot friendly gunfire.

Or if I'm indeed wrong, correct me.
