Hi, I am not sure how you would call these thing anyways.

Basically, I will need a device that let me a machine that let me transfer all my VHS tape and BETA tape to a device then transfer it to my computer.

The idea looks like this machine

I am trying to be simple as possible. I don't care if it's in HD or not.

What I want, is to transfer all my VHS, BETA tape into my computer. Whether directly, or several steps that allows me to do so.

I am quite simple, I don't care if it supports HD or not, I can still live with 480resolution.

I don't care about their hard disk memory, I don't need those 500gb+ I just want something that can record at least a VHS with 8 hours duration.

A machine that can support USB or ESATA, so I can transfer the movies into my external HDD then to computer.

That is all I need, if you happen to have  a brand or any of those device, let me know what you got.

Hi thanks for the help, I wouldn't mind having service doing for me with few tapes.

It's just the price might be too high when you get over 100 video tapes recorded at LP/SLP, unless their price is monstrously cheap :)

I tried a DVD recorder to realize the quality is shit. I mean, even VHS recorded at SLP has WAY WAY better quality than DVD recorded on SLP.

This force me to record at SP which allows me to record up to 1 hour without losing too much quality. Spending money on 400 DVD or Double layer rewritable will be too high, at this point, I am looking for a numerical recorder.

Also, tried those fancy USB device. Tried it, deceived me. I bought an EasyCAP usb transfer, and the audio was constantly ruined by noise interference. Whether, I got one that was defective or it was a band brand.
