Events don't fix problems.

They just hide them for later.

Extremely good point.. But it is nice to be allowed to have a bridge between the different time zones.

On topic, everyone knows NF is slowing to a snails pace, 1 server can be supported, and during events 2 can. This is not sustainable for those players on the second server.

Changes need to happen to allow everyone to play on a bigger server or somehow allow interserver games. However this isn't going to happen, they can't even remove the 50 sailor bug so there is little hope. Just enjoy what is left of this game, once NF2 NA comes out there will be a server merge if, and it is a big if, they even keep the game running.

I logged on last night and during 200% event there were 3 GBs going around 4pm server time on Kaiser, so it wasn't quick to play games even at what should be a peak time for the game.

Interserver battles, now that would be something that NF could think about... In this day and age with Computers and other advances, I am sure that this would not be a huge challenge.

Kaiser is already at 150% XP. I would like to see this, but seeing how kaiser is already at 150% XP I doubt that this part of the "event" would work. Seeing how, 2 weeks ago, we had a weekend event, of 150% XP and we did not get it, because our server is already at 150% XP. I would like to see them do item events daily or at different times, and like to see them do 200% XP.

tho I agree this would be a great Idea this event would only cater to a few and not fix the issue as a whole.

1. they need to switch the servers on the log on screen so kaiser is first

2. they need an aggresive ad campiagn to boost new players on the servers as a whole

3. an extra 50% on kaiser as we have seen doesnt work or attract new players, or old ones from coming back

4. fix the bugs and crashes

5. balance the content already here and stop creating new ones

6. better customer support in all areas needs to be stepped up, and the needs of your paying customers addressed 

this and only this may and I say may bring NF back to life, I see this as a game thats going to drop off the earth, it may take a few years, but if something isnt done now, there will be no chance

I agree hammo I think this is a great event. Kaiser server is so dead, even during events. Punishing players from other time zones or from the same that can only regularly get on at that time, while they pay for the game is a crime.

 

I remember talking to Nebby mods the other day, and man they really don't know what it is like, they just said blah blah blah blah blah... you know the usually talking out of butt etc. They are spoiled to what they have on nebby server. Nebby server during Fleet wars had, the entire battle square filled and at least 1 trade area filled, and during fleet wars had even started last sunday... no big deal. The point I am making is people that are playing on Nebraska will talk out of their butt and have no say when the topic about a dead server or lack of players/games etc. We pay for this game too, ppl on nebby especially those representing the game don't be naive, value your customers, REMEMBER WE ARE CUSTOMERS (PAYING FOR THE GAME) TOO!

 

Also hlong your wrong that kaiser is at 150% all the time , SD$ messed up during one of their patches and exp is the same as it is on nebby.

Don't like it on Kaiser? Make an account on Nebby then. This isn't a glib answer: I honestly don't believe there is any hope of saving this game anymore. SDE has had their shot and its done. Now it's just the gradual bleeding out until the player base is gone.

200% 4 day event was compensation?  You can believe that if you want to but IN MY HUMBLE OPINION it was designed to bring in as many players as possible to see how many are still left actively playing.  You average those totals over 4 days and you have a good idea what the stress level will be on your server.  Then they say hmmmmmmmmm everyone wants a server merge can we do that?  If the answer is yes, we will get a server merge.  If the answer is no, then everything stays put.

I really enjoyed the 200% and even if I am wrong I hope they do more of it.  The extra exp means I can play BB more.  I hate waiting to find a game and waiting for games to start and it always seems worse playing BB.
