In the end does it actually matter what class the gunners are? if you class accuracy, reload will eventually cap and if u cap rel acc will cap. Assuming I'm correct in my statement, at what level will both be capped for uk gunners?

im pretty sure capping will depend on the amount of vets/experts on your gunners. im almost certain both will cap at some point but not for certain i know reload classed will cap in acc eventually given high amount of experts/vets. but if you go the reload way be prepared for terrible spread bb1-bb3/4

If you class UK main gunners ACC, they will reload cap @ lvl 120 with reload base +11, boosted and 109 vets.

It is preferable to have gunners base 13/11 or 12/10 (for acc/rel) and class them REL. With normal vets (109), you'd hit both caps at around lvl 80, enabling you to take off rookies later and thus make the gunners lighter.

Uhm, maybe that in W@W a ship with reload classed gunners will shoot again much, much faster than the ship with acc classed gunners?
OP asked for the difference between the 2 classings, in Gb there isn't that much once you hit 120 and have bve gunners but in W@W that difference is massive.

Has anyone ever played W@W???? Not really....

In "normal" circumstances the difference between ACC and REL is that ACC is much more fun during the boring low levels (CA?PBB/BB1/BB2). Blockshotting York is epic if your server supports Blitz.

But longer term REL is easier to level - since high level ships make better XP and reload will help.

Depending on the base, amount of vets/experts, you should find that after about lvl 100 it's not that important.

If you really care you can work all this out yourself by using Adelbert's guide to ability.

Is it just as effective to buy Elite Reload gunners and class them accuracy? What level will these types of gunners reach the cap compared to 12/10 or 13/11 gunners?

Yes this is effective, and a nice way to get a jump on RLD while classing ACC. This is especially effective if you want to go UK, like some1 else said the block shot york in bltiz is awesome you will get the best of both worlds.

answer: No, except for in WaW.

If you start with reasonable bases (11+) you will hit the cap for both ACC and RLD with full BVE, even with UK classed ACC ACC ACC (but it will come at lvl 100+. People don't do that anymore though, RLD is more popular now. Possibly ACC RLD RLD is the best for early boring levels, and later on catching the RLD cap.

This classing (ACC RLD RLD) is not possible with UK. You are confusing UK with US. With UK, you can only create ACC gunners or REL gunners. You can't have a bit of REL classing with your ACC gunners.

And in the end, yes it does matter whether they are ACC or REL gunners. Read my first reply.
