Hi all,

I have been playing on and off since febuary 2006. I have just returned after 1.5 years away from NF. Its good to be back in the saddle.

A few observations though - why dont bbs even put aa guns on their ships anymore ? Why dont players try and blind opponents then go after ships ?

Its intertesting to see how the metgame has changed in the time ive been away, i remember the battlefield used to lightup with aa at the start of the game to blind the opponents and bb 1 - 3 would defend bb 4- 6 from crazy bulls

anywho I was waondering what is the current fashion and what are the fleet liks atm ? I used to be in 3rd fleet and red sky

bbs driving in strait lines atm and stopping altogethe to shoot lol

You cant force people to put AA on their ships, nor force a player to take Torps of a bb6, which i find funny, but oh well. Then you have BB's who just AA the whole game, and not help out their team, which causes your team to lose. I feel that AA/Torps should not be allowed on a BB, if you want to AA, then get in an AA ship. I see to many AA bbs just AAing whole game, doing nothing to help their teams.

Also some people want speed on their ships, and to put more bulge like my self. With more guns, on your ship, you lose speed and wont be able to put more bulge which can save you later from a sub.

Good that not many people listen to you for bbs need aa, why you while ask. Well think on it and check in the history and you should find the answer if you aint stupid.

If you aa, you help your team (yes you do dont denie it)

How you think a player should help the team or even help is your oppinion and the best alternati is to let the players decide how they want to play.

So you say something about not forcing people to put AA on their ships, but you suggest that they force us NOT to put AA on our ships.

Honestly I use my AA defensively, if im blind I will knock the enemy scouts down too, and if im being fighter camped, naturally i will clear them from my ship so I can scout. Also bombers, you expect me to sit there and just take them?

Sorry but that post was just senseless.
