There appears to be an increase in this foolish activity at the moment, and this post is simply to remind you of the risks that are involved.

The sale and purchase of any Navyfield item, whether it a crewman or a whole account for real currency is strictly against SDE/TNF rules, and the person doing so risks not only his real money, but also the accounts that are involved in the movement of Crew from that account.

TNF do not assist if these types of trade go bad, when evidence is presented showing that an account has transferred for currency we suspend the account indefinitly.

For example :-
If you buy and account for currency, the original owner will still most likely have evidence that that account is his, he will have item purchase evidence, olive key evidence, email evidence, and ip address evidence and so on.
You pay currency for this item, he takes your money and then screams hacked and we investigate this account on the evidence he can provide regarding ownership.

You lose the money you just invested and the accounts that are linked with your ip address for hacking/theft.

As a Warning to all DON'T DO IT
