  • Some questions about the merge.

Some issues i think SDE/GMs/TNFs should have in mind. Posting them here for see if someone wants to add more. Maybe we highlight things they didn't consider:

 


Ships.

 

1-What are you going to do if the same person has the same premium ship/event ship in both servers?

 

2-What are you going to do if the same person has the same ship (no-premium) in both servers (this includes BB6/CV6s) ?

 

3-What are you going to do if the limit of ships you can have on harbor is inferior to the ships you have in both servers? (or the same problem can be presented in just 1 national harbor).

 

 

 

 

Credits/Points/Items


 

4-What are you going to do with the credits/points people have on both servers (i guess they will be merged too) ?

 

5-What are you going to do if credits/points limit adding the two accounts is overflowed ?

 

6-What are you going to do with the boosts/experts/vets/smoke/mines/elites/BO resets/ premium HHs ...  items (i guess they will be merged too)?

 

7-What are going to do with things like HQ expansions or Harbor expansions, they will be merged too ?

 

 

 

 

Sailors

 

 

8-What are you going to do with sailors ( i guess the intention is too merging them all too) ?

 

9-What are you going to do if the number of sailors in shipyard from both servers is superior to the 50 sailors limit (i guess putting them on "black pages" of the HQ, but you know there is another "option") ?

 

10-What are you going if the amount of sailors surpases the limit of 50 sailors on shipyard +10 HQ pages (quite unlikely, but you need to consider it too)?

 

 

 

 

Other things:


What are you going to do with inactive accounts that are inactive since 1 year or more time (or slept accounts, banned accounts, similar things) they will be merged too like normal ones?

 

Fleets will be disbanded again?

 

Harbors owners will be reseted again?

 

What are you going to do with Rankings, they will be merged too ?

 

Would be able to do for you the elimination of lvl 1 yellow sailors for high level accounts on the "secondary" server for make it less confusing (i guess noone wants to keep them)?

 

Would be able to you to post some kind of recomendations/guidelines for players for avoiding possible issues with the merge of accounts (of course, when possible) ?

 

Would be able to you to let community to choose the name of the new server (if it's going to have a name) ?

 

Is there going to be some kind of changes in battle limits, new game types or fix some of current ones (we will have more people), change in the size of fleets, creating a general chat channel for all the server, changes in ranking system, or more important things like reestructuration on TNFs/GM team or other changes due to this merge?

 

Did you have in mind to change certain website zones where you can choose "server" (trade forums posting, ticket sending, rankings, etc ) ?

 

With the merging of the servers is finally the olive premium trade comming back ?

I think making a good and complete review can make his job easier an minimize the number of future issues when they do it.

the fleets that have a harbor at the moment will they loose it with the merge? or the fleets in nebby will continue to own it after the merge?

If i am not mistaken, Prem Trade was taken off, due to people using it to desert Kaiser Server, seeing as we will have only one Server, will this mean Prem Trade is returning soon also?

1- I have the same questions regarding the same ships for prem, I never gave it a thought for event ships, but we should be able to deside on what "new" ship to get, or be refunded in olives, so we can rebuy other types of items. I made a post about this yesterday, and it got flammed, so I deleted it.

2- Most likely, the normal ships will be sold back. This isnt a problem for me, just prem ships I have a problem with selling them back for credits/points.

3- good question

4- will be merged together 5- never heard of overflow in credits/points. 6- will be merged togeather. 7- will be merged togeather. 

8- will be merged togeather. 9- good question, but i have plenty of pages for a merge. 10- good question. Maybe make a 2nd account as stated before like hlong19x or something?

Other things good questions. I think fleets mayb disbanned like last time, but if they do, lets hope it doesnt disban like 3 times like last time, harbors will disban, it wouldnt be fair to kaiser players who own a harbor to lose their harbor while nebby players keep theres. that or ask fleet leaders who own 2 harbors to give 1 of their harbors to a fleet from the other server who owns a harbor, that would be fair as well. like for example my fleet i am in owns 2 harbors, and for example if my fleet on nebby owned 2 harbors, they could give 1 of ther harbors to another fleet, but doubt this would work.

Olive trade back would be nice.

Based on the last server merge experience I can answer some of the questions as I don't see them working differently. 

2.- On the last merge they were sold and credits reimbursed. 

3.- On the last merge, premium ships went back to Item tab and duplicated ships were sold. Due to this is unlikely that you will encounter this problem since you will have few ships left in the harbor.

4.- On the last merge, Credits and Points were also merged.

6.- Those unused items will be merged also, just like in the last merge.

8.- Last time sailors were merged.

9.- Last time, every sailor past the 50 sailor limit was sent to HQ with the "Black page" system. I don't see it working differently now.



Those are the questions I can answer with certainty based on the last server merge.

I'm sure that there will be of course a thread with advices and things to look at when the merge is closer, as last time there was also one.

I wouldn't worry about it im pretty sure SDE doesn't want a ton of people complaining about them losing there PCA/PCVs.... If you have the same on both servers im guessing they will sell one and let you keep the other.

If you read carefully, N°2 is about non-premium ships. No money is being stolen, they were paid with credits/points and credits/points will be reimbursed.

Ihmo, we're the one in trouble. We're the one asking for help, and we're the one hoping for a merge.

Nebby doesn't have to be merged to stay a healthy server, nebby doesn't need us.

Therefore, if we, kaiser, get merge to Nebby. Nebby should keep their harbour. We come to them, not them coming to us.



You should not comply to someone agreement, when he desperately seek your aid/advice/help, in fact, he should comply to your agreement instead. It's the same thing in real life.

its not stealing your money, common hlong, you were one of the highest yellers for a server merge, you had to know if you had 2 of the same prem ships you would lose it, you have been playing for how long?

dont start this SDE is ripping me off thread, it is 100% incorrect, be happy you got what you wanted, and not cry over a few dollars, for god sakes ive bought prem every month you think that wasnt wasted on a dead server?

you dont see me crying for my money back, get over it, lets do the merge and have fun again....my god
