once I played ss,the enemy got no ss in game and dd far away from me,
but the enemy saw me and sent torp bombers directly to me and sunk my ship, why?

Someone near you had a Sonarman. Or someone was cheating.

Either a cl or a cv had a sonarman and they spotted you.

OR
The CV player remembered roughly where you were from a previous spotting from a sonar-capable ship, and they just manually torp bombed in the area and was able to catch you with them.

Also true Plazmadj. Being unpredictable as an SS is a good survival tactic. If you are showing yourself to be predictable someone can hh or tb you based on your speed and targets of opportunity around you. One of the reasons you will see the more experienced SS players not just go for the most obvious targets. If the BBs or CVs dont have a sonarman they will have to use your torps as an indicator of where you are or where you are going. If they see 4-8 torps they know what direction you are facing and roughly where you will be for the next few seconds. If you have the air supply and speed, firing 2 torps at a time can keep them guessing as to which direction you are traveling.

1. There's a Sonarman-equipped CL or CV nearby.2. You just fired torps and they predicted where you are at.3. You did not change direction after diving under their watch.4. ABing, which is the last possibility since you can't really prove it.

Because you sailed in a straight line at approx the same speed right after you dove.

I play with my Ticon PCV and I usually eat subs lol.Even when i play with my BBs, I tend to try and predict, and just sit on top of them until they surface LOL

One additional reason you were detected is because a higher level sub's sonar picked you up, but your sonar didn't pick them up.I can pick up subs on my sonar (L120 KM SS5) at twice the distance an SS1 provides. That's why when your motoring along submerged in your SS1, a salvo of torps show up from out of nowhere and sink you. No enemy sighted. That was me.

some observe your course and estimated speeds and can guess where you are.some can observe where your torps come from and can figure out where you are.some are sub players and know the habits of most sub players and get you with their eyes closed.tip dont be predictable... always try to be stealth...change your patterns once and a whilethere are other ways such as ghosting which is against the rules... it happens but very raresome sonar have longer range than some
