Straight up damage wise it would be TB.

BUT

Since USN DBs are fast (compared to other DBs) look like their T2-3 fighters and blend with the background quite well.

Also torp damage can be reduced or totally nullified by many factors like not hitting the center of the ship (up to 50% less damage) belt armor (50% and more) and of coursse bulge BBs love to stack nowdays that will absorb your torp damage.

I know The US needs fighters and I will use them primarily but i want a few bomber squads so i can defend myself from other ships and get some attack and xp

Then go with 5/3 or 6/2. (fighters/bombers)

I'd use DBs because the damage is guaranteed (unlike torps that can be absorbed by bulge).

Also TB exp is bugged.

Go TB all the way...

- US T2 Aircarft Torp hit quite hard. They can cripple 100 bulge and 0.2 belt with only 5 or 6 torps hitting center.

- you can hunt SS and kill small ships. With DB its difficult to achieve this

- Also DB can't penetrate on UK Armored BB. US DB are fast but they can't really hit hard

US are primary to FW, and you should consider using 1 Scout... but the best config for US should be 6 Ftrs 1 Scout and 1 TB.

Don't mind about XP, since you will get most of your XP by FTRS

i go half capacity filled with fighters, 1 tb squadron and db for the rest. the tb is there in case of subs.

Thnx for all the input I think I am going to run 5 Ftrs 2 DB and 1 TB or replace one Ftr with a Scout.

o man, please dont become yet another RFAB player.  it is extremely inefficient
