I heard a while back that a bb6 cost 50k cred AND 50k points any truth to it?  btw +300exp bonus made my day.

I wish they where 50k credits/points. They are 50million credits, and 20mil points, to change the name of your ship, I think its a million credits per name change, and if you sell your bb6/cv6 you will get Nothing in return.
