Use maunal.... this is why gbs are so easy to farm lol

I would say it has something to do with the coding and for your information crackmonk using auto gives you less exp and range in battles so you are just giving yourself a disadvantage in battles.

Mate the reason it does that is the way the ship was created, it has multiple guns on front rear and mid, so the outside mid gun lines will almost never line up correctly.  And i know you dont wanna hear this but only way to make them all work correctly is manual. Try a ship that is fron and rear gun only as mains and you wont have that problem(middle guns will always bug out like that on auto)

The reason for this is that the auto system tries to line up the guns to the place where you point. As main guns can't rotate 360°, there is always a spot where your guns will never reach. 

When you press that spot, the gun that can't get aligned tries to rotate the other way in order to reach the spot, but of course... it won't reach it. Thus leaving the gun dissaligned in the other side of the ship.

I know you don't want to hear this, but the only way to avoid it is using manual because with it you are the one who controls the guns and they won't go nuts trying to reach a spot you know they can't reach. 

dont use manual...and have bugs....
