I already have topic about that and deleted without reason...

You shout fix this ridiculous submarine resistace agains shells. Sinking a submarine is much harder than  sink a battleship.

Do not bs about it isnt real life nonsence. Game is real unbalance and boring already.

these ss and asw threads get deleted cos the become a flame between ss and bb players
the ss and asw is in progress on the test server so post your opinion in the the testserver forms

Since I am on my 6th or 7th boot from server today, I see the thread addressing this issue got deleted or disappeared somewhere LOL.

Alex Caboose! I had to retire before I got to see an answer to my question regarding your insistence players refrain from using terms like "Nerf" and "Buff" to describe issues designers or planners employ.

What equally descriptive terms could be used on this forum?

As Nyer has stated countless times, when looking at a rebalance, all traits of a ship will be looked at. The terms nerf and buff cause everyone to go into a frenzy without looking at the big picture. Yes, some things will be nerfed. Others will be buffed. But there will be trade-offs and compromises made in many areas in order to achieve a greater overall balance. 

In yesterday's thread, no one wanted to talk about the numerous buffs we had hoped to achieve. There are quite a few, and you are free to investigate them in the Test Server Forum. However, I will highlight that we do hope to remove dud torpedoes.

Anti-recommended.


Sub armor is fine as it is. Use HH or PHH on gradual and you will be fine.

I did not realize those terms caused consternation, and yet they are quite descriptive actually. Nerfing accurately describes an induced lowering of an item's ability, where Buffing describes enhancement quite well.

By the way, I have been one shotted by BB many times already today while in my sub.

Ridiculous?

I just put 8 torpedoes (2 X 4 Salvos) into an Italian BB5 and it laughed at me.  Each torpedo is 22,000 HE.  That was 8 X 22,000 HE and not a puff of smoke.

Real life?  The real Bismarck was stopped in its tracks with one torpedo from a type 1 biplane torpdoe bomber.

How about 11 torpdoe bombers trying to stop a BB5 from a carrier?  Not gonna happen with the mega bulge.  That BB just keeps on coming....

3 minutes of air and you're dead. That's the life of a submarine.

As a matter of fact, most 1-shots are competely devastating to a sub.  99% of players think all of their shells hit the sub, when in fact their shells are all around the sub with only a few hitting it.

When I hear crybabies whine all day about subs this, subs that...it makes me want to go get my sub and hunt them down.   Loudmouths are big targets.  Keep talking.  I need to know which direction to find you.

The test team who are objective will be looking at this in particular as well as all other traits.

Don't worry. Subs will be balanced.

Just like Italy's BB1 was balanced. It appears that balance is the ability to deal more DPM than a BB3.

And they call photon torpedos what a joke.Yes game isnt balanced but in other side.

I remb one fact BB Yamato is open fir against escortCv class and no one of 460mm isnt explode? Reality is beat the fiction everytime.
