I recently put my boosted Yellow reload gunner on and ripped a swath through the enemy on gradual mode as I rushed them. He's now at L106, so he's got about 8-9 secs. I can pop a 3-shot of 2000 HE every 3-4 seconds that way.
At L106 his accuracy is good enough to work the L80 guns quite nicely.
Two schools of thought on Acc and Rld both legitimate.
If my accuracy sucks I won't be able to hit any ships.
If my reload sucks I wont get as many salvos off and in a similar predicament to the accuracy problem.
In the end brought up evenly (as even as possible) and capping close to each other you are really helping yourself. I've tried focusing on Accuracy and Reload on first nations, and found that when I tried to have one significantly better than the other I really just wanted both decent. As a side note, when your frustrated, need experts or just want a break, bad acc but good reload still works well for AA, whereas great accuracy but terrible reload doesnt have quite the same effect.. If you really want to see another example of reloads value look at the people willing to wait till yammy to class DP gunners on IJN. They do it because its worth it, accuracy.. not as much. Level them effiencently and you'll be happier in the mid tiers and only struggle slightly in the lower tiers.
