What server are you trying to use?

Since the patch, I have had great difficulty in completing a game on Kaiser. The lost server connection error is the most common problem... Lag is about 2 seconds when Kaiser does work-it is just about unplayable due to the lag until it does crash.....

I am in the middle of making adjustments to my settings to come up with something that works following the suggestions of tech support. No success so far but, I am not a computer wiz so this could take a while as I change settings and restart multiple times....

I found that I do not have a real problem if I use my Nebraska account-just an random crash or freeze every 5 or 10 games-something that is really pretty typical...

It is Kaiser. I am also trying things but no luck so far. The idea of trying the Nebraska server looks usefull. Why couldn't i think that! :D Also i am studying Comp. Engineering and also i have a PC since relese of Windows 3.1 but this game is just... I tryed to play a game on Nebraska but before i checked if the game still does this thing. I went to Kaiser, changed my harbour to get another ship, it again freezed on harbour chancing white screen for a second. Than i got into a room and waited for some1 to quit the room, it again freezed for a second ( these freezes are with mause freezing). Than i clicket to exit the room than game freezed completely, than task manager... Than i tryed those things in Nebraska, it stacked on loading when i entered the room without any1 write anythin or being able to change spots. i also flush my DNS cache. Tryed with Google DNS and Open DNS. Tryed to configure the ATI Catalyst Control Center from quality to performance. Still no luck... Than somethin interesting happened. I was playing Football Manager 2011 when hit the exit buton, PC stacked, it freezed on that last screen but winamp kept working but my play/pause key on keyboard also stopted working. Than i reseted my PC. Now NF works as it was. No lag no freezing. I hope this lasts long! :D

My Nebraska account seems to work just fine-not even any lag. Then I logged-out and go to Kaiser....

I can't finish a game on Kaiser-lag was more than 5 seconds then I got the dreaded message that the connection to the server has been lost.

There seems to be a big difference in connectivity for me between the two servers...

I tried turning off the firewall and running path ping-it did not work. I did not get a report anything like those posted. It just went two steps. So something is blocking and I don't think it is the firewall because it was off for the pathping attempts....

All this since the last patch-I did not change anything since then....

I use Microsoft Security Essentials-I will see if I can disable that for the pathping....
