Becoz they thought O2 should be the ebb4, and bismarck43 is the ebb3, so they give the H39 N guns for it to make it 'ebb4' and give bismarck43 the triple O2 L guns...

Nope its a buff. Played the new OPro2 a lot today and its a good ship. Though i would agree about a accuracy buff for the 16.1Ns.
With the 16.1Ns it isnt a rusher anymore but its awesome to play a hit and run against bb5/4 and you outrange all BB3s. Play it more like a Vanny. Its a good ship, it might be jsut your skill.

16" SHOULD do more damage despite lower damage displayed.
The shells have a bigger caliber and weight that increases the damage.
So in theory that gun should do more damage than 15" duals... altho not by much.
It also enjoys a large range advantage over the triples (damage wise the trips blow 16" out of the water... so yeah).

They are probably the only legitimate BB4.5 gun in the game now.

I would be much obliged if you read properly what I've written before posting irrelevant stuff.

I have conducted range tests, Niborger, nothing else. With my gunners, lvl 95 (at both caps, if you insist), there is no discernible difference in range between the 16"N and the 15"bL guns. I wasn't talking about the ship, so it's no good trying to tell me that it is good - everybody knows that. I was talking about the guns in the topic.

Sonlirain, in the message topic I specified "D" - from the port information we know that before a gun, that means "dual turret". So yes, I know that the 16"N have more range than the triple 15"bL.

I appreciate that the real damage of the 16"N might be - slightly - higher (that's why I wrote displayed damage in capitals).

There is still no good answer to the topic's question. My point is, even if the 16"N have been buffed, they don't seem to have any advantages over the dual 14.96"bL.
