After looking at the Common Solutions thread and starting to add back in the compatibility setting

I realized I would only be able to give what has worked for me and what I have instruced others to use.

 

So I open this up to all to share the info and lets build a better list:

  • Win 7 x32 and x64
  • Win Vista x32 and x64
  • Win XP 
  • Win XP Pro
  • Others?

Also if there is a specific setting to an O/S like the proper install location for the game in X64 O/S
or Not using a specific Setting as it has a negative result. please lest them too.

For win vista and win7 this is what should be used:

That is on NF launcher only.

I used that on my old Vista machine and Current Win7 machine

There is no need for compatibility mode on Win Xp, I have another PC with XP that I used to play NF on occasionally and it was perfectly fine with no changes and it only had like 1gig ram. Maybe run as admin but I do not remember if you can even do that on Xp.
