  • Computer Not Registering that Nf has been installed

After the latest patch i uninstalled and reinstalled nf ( i know i did this before the solution was published )

Now i have tried to reinstall 3 times and everytime my computer has not registerd that i have reinstalled it and no folder has been created for it so i cannot start up the game

any help would be much appreciated >.>

First off
Go to the common solutions thread and review the proper uninstall/removal procedure and if that wont work
You will need to manually remove the game and folders and clear the registry of any NF info.

Then after a final reboot you can start a new install

read and completed those instructions


reinstalled nf

( still no folder created for SDE enternet so i can't start the game up other then off the install where is says would you like to lauch NF)

i click launch nf

patch dwnloads

game starts then the screen goes black and then crashes and i get

Error has occurred in hacking protection function. (Error Code = 204) program will be closed

For error 204 try manually updating HS.

C:\Program Files\SD EnterNET\NavyFIELD\HShield\HSUpdate.exe

I could be wrong but I think thats the error message # I was getting and thats how I fixed it.

Ok it has to have installed NF into a folder so its just a matter of Lookin for the folder

Program File\Sdenternet\NavyField

thats the problem there is no folder labeled sdenternet and it dosn't make one completely cleared my computer of navyfield emptyed recycling cleared the cache then did a fresh install and got the same error message >.>

OK when you run the installer it will ask where to install it, did you pick a folder to put it in

well i think we just found the problem

its like there is a shadow folder i search the folder name where its directed to after i install nf and there is no folder named that.

edit :

made a new folder called SDENTERNET

installed nf into that folder and when i checked the folder after the install
it was empty >.>

Ok I dont see how the game can be installed but you cant see the files? Do you only have limited rights on the PC?
