It depends what CV you have and how many pilots you have. If you are going to be a FW then make sure you have 8 fighter pilots. On my CV6 I have 6 FP and 1 120 scout. At the beginning of the game I load 2 scouts and 2 planes on the first 3 pilots. After I launch the first fighters I load 3 planes each on the other 3 fighter pilots. I pretty much load 3,3,3 the rest of the game unless I feel I need more planes in the air in which case I load 4,4,4. I try not to load a full deck in case my scout gets shot down, so I can load another one quickly. I hope this helped.

Its actualy up to you man, i have 5 Fighters in my CV, the CV has 9 deck space. I load up 3 planes for each of the 3 first pilots, once i launched them, i start loading 3 planes for the last 2 pilots, after i launched the last 2 squads, i repeat the secuence. Makes it easy to fighter camp a lame CV that spamms bombers or doesnt actualy use hes FPs much, or even to blind the enemy, each battle i send my FPs to intercept the first wave of scouts in the sector i am, so the enemy keeps blind till the CV sends higher level piltos against mine. You just need to find the combination that fits you

Unless I am up against a CV that absolutely munches my fighters (doesn't happen often even in a UK CV6) I find that I generally have fighters running out of fuel instead of entire waves being killed. If you find that you have to spam planes to keep vision just load 2 per pilot and you'll have more planes in the air quicker. The most planes I would ever load on one pilot is 4. Any more and you start to run into not having more planes ready to take off when your other wave is dead or out of fuel. Just my $.02.

Never ever take on KM or US fighters head on. You want to make sure you click to peel off after you see the other fighters start to engage. You want to get them to engage your foreword most fighter. Then as you make them chase you, your other fighters should shoot them down. Basically you just need to be spam clicking your right mouse button.

Considering how many semi-afk failbots there are who don't send fighters first to clear the airspace or who send them out after loading 12 fighters on one pilot...

by asking the question you are already off to a good start.  Like the others said here, and based on the number of FPs you have, the general idea is to get the first batch out quickly, therefore the lower lumbers.  The different numbers in your question reflect the different number of pilots on a given crew I would guess, and not some Universal Truth.  From there you have to figure out what number per pilot let's you establish a good rythm of coverage.  If you're doing anything like this, you will easily own the average GB CV.

On my CV6 i run 8 FPs and load 3-3-3-3 on pilots 1-4 then launch them and then as soon as they are in the air, i start loading 3-3-3-3 on pilots 4-8, then i load 3-3-3-3 on pilots 1-4 and wait for them to run out of fuel and then start fueling another wave and just keep a continuous stream of planes going.

This

Just ask ChicagoBears for tips in-game, but he has to boast about his "average skillz" and tell you that everyone sucks(because they don't have the average skill) first.

Wait, you meant pilots 1-4 and 5-8 right?
