  • UK EBB for Revenge Line

Currently I am at level 54 or so and am about to get my first BB. I am in the County now so I would continue onto the Revenge line. With the upcoming event soon I was wondering what EBB would be best for the Revenge line.
Basically what is the worst ship on the Revenge line and which EBB would be the best fit to grind through it.
I know for the Renown/Repulse line that a Valiant aka Warspite is best to go from Repulse to Nelson or Hood. What is the equavalant for the Revenge line?

I don't think there is any weak ship in Revenge line, except for Revenge itself.............

If you have Dunk, then you just need to grid 4 more levels to lvl65 Queen Elizabeth, if I'm not mistaken - a ship that is as small as Italian ships and has a range of BB3 (15*2 MarkIII Normal).

After that you have KGV and POW, nice little ambush ships, then LionI probably, then LionII.

If you are good at sling shot, I strongly recommend EBB Hood1939 to you. This is a ship which will fit into the void of playstyle of Revenge line: A FAST Battle Cruiser going up to 44knt at top speed with 4 main-gun setup.

The Valliant is good (sadly I don't have it yet), but I don't think it's as fast as EBB Hood1939.

I would suggest to get EBBII (Resolution) and EBBIII(Valiant) and it doesn't matter what line you take your BO does

 any sailor that has level equal to the EBBs, ECVs, PBBs can be use as BO....

Thanks for the help so far This is my first BB line so I have no expierience in any slingshoting techniques From my research the EBB3 Valaint seems really good... but is it worth it if the POW is on the same (around) level Also the Queen Elizabeth seems very good according to you, Jedizorro I know I don't want the EBB1 Dreadnought... and the Hood1939, although a good ship, seems to far in the future to consider. So its between the the Valiant and Resolution... Is the QE or POW / KGV combo better? Thanks so far... peder5

The Revenge line is actually pretty good and doesn't really need an ebb to lighten the levelling. If you don't like the KGV/POW there's also the very solid QE to fall back to.

As for the meat of your post, you are looking for an event ship to get an alternative ship to play.
Do not consider the Resolution. As an EBB2 you need to play 100 Skirmish battle and win 40 of them to be able to get the Resolution. In a 2 week time span I think anyone would be very unlikely to get that many Skirmish games within a reasonable number of  Hours played.
Focus on what SDE classes as EBB3 for this event, the Valiant and the Hood, in your case probably the Valiant. GB's will always be running in quantity so those you can play one after the other.
If you allow for crashes, waiting for rooms to start and the inevitable GB that will end too soon, figure you can get credit for about 4 GB's per hour. That means 25 hours of play to get the credit for an EBB3, all to be done inside a 2 week period or about 2 hours of play each day. If you don't play that amount, I wouldn't get your hopes up of getting an EBB.
Also with 100 games played in GB you should level a fair bit, so you might very well be able to hop into a Valiant once the event ends.

Ok... seems like I'm going to try for the Valiant. I think I would be able to play enough to get those games it but if not, you're right, I willl still level pretty far. Thanks for the help! peder5

If you get your Valiant fast enough, you could always swap to playing skirmish and try get yourself a Resolution aswell. Atleast be able to guage wether playing the remaining skirmish games is likely or not.

In your case I would suggest you to get Valiant.

Valiant is basically a better QE which allows you to have 16*3*4 setup, or even 14*4*4 (pretty useful in Night Battles, xD). It's not going to be as fast as Hood, but it's so much smaller (Italian ship size). And this is the ship I am going to get in this event as well.

Personally I don't think there is much point in getting Resolution, it's basically the same as QE (except it gives you 1 more support sailor slot than QE, but I'm not sure how many T-gun slots Resolution has got).
