I know what most ppl think, the AAW at this moment is basically nullified, no need to even talk about it. WELL as you all know in the world at war rooms there is no ability cap, that means your gunners that have already passed the reload cap will reload even faster!! dont believe, then grab your 100+ crew and compare reload times. My MN PBB lvl 120 gunners go from 5 sec reload to 3 sec reload, and they are like 11/12 or something, with a lot of recruits  still, so a full ebve crew would prob reload even faster! so yea. MY POINT:

I dont have a full 100+ crew, so i wanted to check the room out and grabbed my 4 100+ sailors, 2 gunners, and 2 supports. my PBB basically had 900 sd and hit around 50 knots, so i was still a threat lol. in game though my PBB shot down 2000 creds worth of planes.

NOW that is interesting. 2000 creds??? I AA ALOT and i know a 2000 cred game is a GOOD GAME, 2-4 is pro, 4-6 is just insane, i got 6000 creds in CV, SO 2000 cred by auto guns????

Just to clarify, ALL the planes shot down had to be lvl 100+, how often do lvl 100+  planes get shot down by ships????? NOT OFTEN. SOOO

Perhaps the AAW ability has a cap??? perhaps they dont know what to do with it or how to make a decent cap for it like they did for ACC or RLD. and thats why mch gunners are disabled IDK.

BUT it s a theory SO, grab your crew and stack as much AAW as you can and head over to a World at war map with a CV friend and test it out, let me know what you find out.

peace

The displaying credits in the top right are multiplied I think, in the same way the team attack is. I suppose it sort of indicates the doubled exp gain, or something. But I'm pretty sure that if you shoot down a scout for 30 credits, the top left will show alot more than 30 credits.

Ships have 2 sources of AAW for their natural AA gun. Their sailors and the ship. The sailor AAW stat is disabled, it doesnt have a reduced impact, it has no impact whatsoever. A ships AAW stat is what it is, I'm pretty sure the AAW stat isnt increased by anything in WaW. And each ship has its own base AAW value, like the Dunk has 264, which is a fair amount.

Next time you're in WaW, watch for what your ship shoots down naturally. You might shoot down a scout worth 30 credits, but the top right might display 1200 or something. I noticed quite a few games where Ive earned 3k+ credits without even having AA guns, and I'm pretty sure I'd notice shooting down 100 scouts or 20 fighters with my ships natural AA.

megabstr

...you get personal credit for regular shell damage in WaW, just like normal rooms, so it wasnt your aaw.

AA more and hopefully you'll be able to hit the 10k or 15k mark in GBs

WaW rooms don't display team attack in game. It displays the tactical value of the enemy ships that are sunk.

As for the personal credits, what Megabstr said. It gets inflated a whole lot if you do damage to other ships.
