Miasma duals have more range and when you get to higher level they will have insane reload too but you should work on getting more support sailors

Better reload also means higher damage despite 12.2" doing a bit more damage per shell.
Also the main IJN advantage being the high angle penetration is nonexistant till the second set nagato guns so the 12.2" don't even get that advantage.

You are already wrong. Even if you want a CV crew, playing any BB (espically IJN) with this crew is useless to your team and you won't get shit in attack.

1st: If you want to make me look like at fool at least go back and edit the "110 engy" it is no where I can see. Or if you were referring to 'the other player' that is is getting a 110engy then prehaps you can stat that.

2nd: mikasa is a EBB not a BB1.

3: Any BB can make a difference in the game it is the skill/lack of crew that determines actually how much you can do.

If you have 110 engies you will hurt your team, I believe.  The split is done by crew, not ship type.  Your EBB1 will rate as a BB5 and you will play like a BB1.  I might be wrong, it might be by BO level.
