Adamai
nice one mod you just lock the thread and try to ignore the issue, but then thats the major problem with nf isnt it!!! people
not giving two shits about the problems of others. nothin gets fixed!! its just like grafitti it just gets painted over.

if you think locking the thread has stopped me complaining about incompetence your sorely mistaken my friend!!

and for your information ive downloaded the patch direct from the ftp and guess what!!! it doesnt work the game doesnt load   9 attemtps  now
and the game just crashes to desktop..

dont you sit there giving me your brocken advice on a brocken game.  and then snubbing me by sticking your nose in the air because you cant stand my frustration
over this utterly rediculous problem that may i say no other game out there suffers with.

im not talking just this one patch im talking every bloody patch every time same problem. im sick of it. they take our money and expect us to live with the shoddy product
and not say anything about it out of place! well i am and they will see it..

feel free to lock this thread. or feel free to give sound advice rather than just sticking your nose up the air and hoping i go away.
im done being nice with the most trivial of problems i  blatently got ignored on the lag and crashing front too

and i was actually being nice then!! now im not concerned about being nice as its not warranted.

should not have locked the thread mate, i recomend customer service lessons for you.

complaint posted :)

Well I'm going to agree that sd screwed up the patch pretty damn bad. The game just stops on me none stop now with the old freeze disconnect deal in middle of battles. Never had that problem until this patch on windows7.

P.S: They wont admit they screwed something up therefor they can ignore some one saying they did. Its been that way since beta.

There was an announcement on this:

http://fm.en.kupaisky.com/Community/Forum/View.aspx?num=1299&searchtype=0&pagecount=0&searchvalue=&sort=5&category=Z01&page1=1

And an apology for the inconvenience which was obviously not intentional.

Adamai I will also send you a checklist of pieces to check that might help with your connection issues. As with all these things it is not easy to trace down when not everyone has the problem and a large portion dont have issues with patches or a need to keep reinstalling - we do understand the frustration though for those with such problems.

This patch hasn't really affected me too badly... Yes I had to install it manually and reinstall the updater but that took a total of 2 minutes. Other than that I still get the same crashes/freezes as I did before but it's not any worse since the patch.

Adamai,

I am sorry if you felt I was Sticking my nose in the air, as I was not.

You post was not asking for help, I read it carefully more than once to determine a response.

You rant about the "Dev's being incompetent", you call them "muppets" and you clearly state that you
can only D/L and reinstall after "rediculous and incompetent attempts at patches"

So I was willing to offer if you wanted help which you clearly did not, and that you were going to reinstall
so nothing more I could offer you.

As it was not a request for help I closed it.

i agree i did have a little rant about it all, but please understand its not an unfounded rant. its not the firts time this has happened and to be fair ive been having these problems for the last few months now with nf not starting up and having to reinstall over and over., maybe i shouldnt have ranted but i guess i just got tired of going over the same old things time after time.

i appologise for my rant but i do stand by it. things need fixing.

hi vik yes a checklist would be welcome. also can you give me details on the exact and best net framworks and any side running software that might be needed. im running all the ones upto netframework 4.0.

so if you would be so kind as to mail me a complete checklist of drivers and any network software so i can check it againts whats installed that would be welcome.

we already performed a path ping to the servers and it came back fine., no packets being lost! ping was relatively low too. but if you want to we can do another ping also. a fresh pair of eyes might see something the last pair missed maybe.

my system is an old spec but its still well within peramiters of this game. and i have a decent net connection which is stable.

i have improved things ingame by disabling all the effects like smoke trail and such particles and dmg effects . but it does still freeze up. im aware this game caches whats happening before it sends the data and that the client can only deal with so much data at any one time. so there is probably some kind of bottle neck somewhere.

my pc runs other mmo's fine such as warhammer online, lord of the rings online. wow, and before they introduced ssp2 only cpu's it ran eve-online with no hickups too.

navy field should be a walk in the park. its not even got alot of players online.
i used mod and run my own private nw servers too on this same machine with not so much as a hickup.

i find it odd that i lag so terribly with navyfield. yet everything else is fine. theres not even alot going off on screen.

also i was under the impression from past posts that a fair amount of people have lag issues and freeze issues with the game.

and sorry for flipping my lid lol, i guess i got a little miffed about having the same problem again with yet another patch :)

humans make mistakes

atleast bbr is trying unlike most of the tnf support team to reach out in the tech area

he openly admits he is not a techie but it is odvious that he is picking it up as he goes along

id rather have him and have him make a few mistakes then have no one at all, though my problem hasn't been figured out i am beyond gratefull that someone cares and is atleast trying.

alright lets calm down. so first off, if youre going to talk like that to my man BBR youre gonna get into it with him, and me. so just to let you know. second, they are actually trying to fix all this stuff, its just that its very complex and they dont know why its happening and cant find the problem. But.. they did know what the problem was with the medals, which is why they fixed it.

in conclusion, please do not rant like that and talk junk. i dont have a huge problem with ranting, but when you start to attack people is when i have a problem. and if you got to know BBR be is pretty cool, and he genuinely cares about us and the game which is why he is where he is right now.
