Well, your CV has 4 slots for different aircraft types, scout, fighter, torpedo bomber and dive bomber so make sure you have the right one selected before trying to put planes in a slot.

You'll get a simple window with a list of available aircraft, similar to how you load ammo. Select which plane and how many then click ok. If you load bombers, dont forget to then find them and load them with weapons, identical to how you load ammo into a gun. The amount of bombs you choose is the total available, so for example 10 bombs would only allow the first 10 bombers that take off to have any bombs, they still only carry 1 each.

I don't know which stage of the process you are getting stuck at, that would help.

Also, I hope you know you will need a total of 8 pilots for when you reach lvl 120 and the sooner you start leveling them all together the better. This is often missed by most new CV players.

The info you shared and the guide got me moving in the right direction!

your first cv will have 5 support slots

so i do recommend lvl up more pilots it doesnt hurt and you will have more options as you move up the lvls

now you will need 6 fighter pilots but dont class them fighter squadron leader

4 divebombers since it is fun to attack ships :)

and 4 torpedobombers if you like them

or

8 fighter pilots so you can go fighter heavy

or 5-6 fighter pilots 2-3 divebombers

or you lvl up couple scout pilots and go with 2-3 scout pilots and 5-6 divebombers

since t5 scout planes are pretty overpowered

and try to have alot of fun :)

like everybody said here, start training additional pilots before continuing your grind on your cv, since your still cv1 probably at lvl 50s you'll have a little difficulty unlike to some players that are already at their cv3 or 4 and have missing pilots (either they train or buy or let someone to level)
