Exactly wrong.because if our solar system is a vortex , The Earth's distance to outside the solar system  planets will be constantly changing so we would see pole star that always different direction or different light intensity.Another word we would see the pole star less or more than 1 lux < y <3.4 lux (dark limit) with unstability.
