i am gunna buy the moltke and i was wondering what crew i should have on it

I think it would depend on your needs, I use my moltke as an AA/ASW ship because it has a good AA spread. 3 engineers, 2/3 repair and 1 restore will do just fine.

moltke got 5 support slot, so 2 rep/2engy and 1 scout or 2rep/3engy or 3rep /2 engy but my best choice is 2rep/3engy, this if your gonna use the r gun slot
if not
5 engy (if you have 5:3 ratio of engy:rep) on support slot and 2 rep on r slot and aa gunners on t slot using 4.1" aa
4 engy +1 scout, 2 rep on r slot and aas on t slot
i presume you know how to rotate your support in leveling them...
restore is only useful at low level, once all your sailors (2 gunners,2aa gunners, 1 bo, 3/4 rep, 4/5 engy) will reach 900 sd restore will be useless

This man is correct, after you hit the SD cap (Without premium stuff, BB4 level should cap it if you've been earning experts regularly) restorers just become crappy repairers. My personal choice (Assuming you are continuing on to the BBs afterwards) is to use it as an AA ship to get experts for your supports. 5 engs in support slots, 2 reps in R gun slots, 2 AA gunners in T slots using 4.1 AA (Or 3.46 if your gunners are too low). Rotate scout and supports so that they level evenly. This is also assuming that you've leveled or bought higher level gunners. If not, add those into the rotation too and maybe bring up a second BO (Or stick the gunners on a CV)

It depends on how you define moltke.
For me, If i play moltke like BB1, you will use 2 gunners, 2 aa, 2rep, 2 eng, 1scout.
If you want to be professional AA, 2 AA , 5 engys and 2 more sailors
I usually played this ship to power level my crew, with 2 aa and 7 fts.

For pro AA , don't use a BO as BO, but any sailor.
With 2 repairer and 5 engineers, I'd make that a repairer.

2x AA gunner, 1x lvl 55+ sailor and 7x whatever sailor you need to lvl up :D

Ultra Mega Expert Farming Setup.
2 AA Gunners
2 Engineers (1 in BO Slot)
6 Slots to level whatever.

Supposing you are leveling a BB then you keep rotating your supports. You shoukd have 5/3 or 4/4 engies/reps with 2 AA and a scout (alongside your main gunners and BO (ideally 2 : one for each lines)
So on the moltke you'll keep rotating them to keep then even, I normally kept 2 engies 2 rep then 3 engies 1 rep to get a good rotation. I leave the AA on as a personnal preference, but you can use/level 2 more supports too. But I like the 3,46 on those T slots. Especially if you are still in blitz "bomberland".

The Moltke is not a ship you build a crew for. It is a ship you use to level your crew faster. I used mine even to level foreign sailors. Consider it like an Emden with more support slots, easier AA and real cash cost.
