Ok, I have read the above guide on ability and ability caps and I was wondering if anyone could provide some advice:

I have a pair of elite, boosted Acc. Gunners that are approaching their third classification. So far I have classed them as Rld-Rld.

I was wondering, do I need to class the final time to ACC so that I hit the Acc cap? It looked like I may end up close but short of the cap if I class Rld-Rld-Rld?

Thanks everyone, I know this is an old topic but could use some clarification....

the way you have classed them i do believe you will need to class them acc for the last 1 normally i see them classed Acc Rld Acc or Rld Acc Rld

You will reach both the acc and rel cap no matter how you class them. If you want to have a lot of fun in WaW you should go for Rel-rel-rel. Just make sure you have around 100-120 vets on your gunners. More is always fine.

Ok, I calculated that I if I were to class Rld-Rld-Rld, then at Lvl 120 I would require only 100 Vets and 134 experts to hit the Acc Cap! Thank you!

So now my question is: What advantage/disadvantage does this offer me?

Will be able to reach BOTH caps quicker overall if I class Rld-Rld-Rld?

Will I suffer terrible spread in early BB's if I class this way?

What is the 'True' Ability cap for Reload (I have seen differing numbers)?

i think the first one has been answered you will eventually reach the acc cap with more then 100 vets

second one hehe lol all bb1-3 will suffer from poor spread only with true bve +11 in both or +12 in both will be able to have a awesome spread, the UK york blockshotting comes to mind or the km ones

and third i cant comment on it since its hard to do math >< :P

Dont do too much math. This thinking what is best at lvl 120 is wrong. First u have to reach it and second it should be fun, or at least not a total pain in the ... The grind is long enough anyway and when ur acc is suffering at midway you will not reach 120 because you long stopped playing before reaching it.

Add some acc to your gunner which makes life easier when trying to punch emerging subs next to you or the Andrea Doria with its tiny hitbox sneaking to you.

Previous poster should have done some searching and maybe some math:

A Rel/Rel/Rel bve elite accuracy gunner will cap acc well BEFORE lvl 70 with the old caps, new caps won't be all that many levels extra so probably still caps before lvl 70.

Such a hard grind...
